We went there after church. The food is amazing. We\'re definitely going back.
This is the worst restaurant i have been to.only , appeared to be only 2 people working.you place your order and the cashier... disappear for quite some time, afterwards I figured out why.going into the kitchen to warm up your food. Chicken wings werecooked in burnted grease still was not done, dressing was cold, collard greens,taste like they had only been cooked about 1 and1/2 hours.Mac and cheese only had a little cheese on top.when i say terrible i mean terrible.my daughter took me there for mybirthday, never again.I won\'t repeat what she said about her food Best thing about that place is the Alcohol drink.We werethere Sunday 9-18-2022. So I\'ll say this all those good reviews that you all have either comes from family, friends, or a timewhen there was good cooks there,or just plain liars.i can assure you I won\'t be going back. We arrived at a few minutes after 11 on a Thursday, my wife and I. I ordered roast beef with gravy, green beans and mac and... cheese. My wife ordered fried chicken and mac and cheese. Everything down to the roll and cornbread was delicious! Obviouslyfreshly made, good quantity, as well as good presentation. The service was great. This was our first time here and we werepleasantly surprised by the interior, very well done. I would highly recommend it. The only nit pick would be the slice of cake,white cake with strawberry frosting with chunks of strawberries, homemade, was a bit thin. We will be going back. Read more
The Venu is a new restaurant here in Greenville that you definitely need to put on your \"TO-DO\" list. Why? Because the food is... delicious and what you\'re looking for when it comes to soul food. I had fried whiting fish, collard greens and mac. I\'ve beenthinking about that fried fish since. It was seasoned to perfection and so good. The menu varies slightly daily so I can\'t waitto catch that sweet potato cobbler. I\'m definitely going back because the ambiance is inviting and the food is amazing. Go seefor yourself. Read more

The food was delicious, and our server was the absolute sweetest. My mom ordered the pork chop, and it was huge! My only... complaint is that they did not offer white meat chicken. It’s a small thing, but it’s just my personal preference. Willdefinitely come again to try something else. Read more
