Well I got a oyster poboy probably my mistake. Oyster didn?t have no taste at all. Maybe because it wasn?t winter when oysters r... fatter. But, the real disappointment was the poboy bread it was more like a a 9? hotdog bun with barely enough dressings on it.I figured being in south LA I?d get good fresh French bread. I?m from Biloxi MS and I do know what a good poboy is as I makethem and eat them at restaurants here with real French bread. Onion rings were good but cold. Read more

Seat yourself, we didn't know that and stood around uncomfortably until a nice customer told us to have a seat and someone would... get to us. I returned the favor when another couple came in obviously not knowing like we did about the seat yourself policy. They seemed understaffed as most places are these days but the staff was very nice and attentive. Fried shrimp, gator bites,good but could use some seasoning. Onion rings and special dip were great! Very good food. We had catfish and frog legs, hush puppies, okra, and potato salad. More than we could eat.
I wasn?t very impressed. The atmosphere was good, however, there was far too few staff for patrons. I waited 15 mins for a soft... drink refill and could not get my server?s attention. I finally walked to the counter and paid my bill and left. They advertisedboiled crawfish, but were not serving them in the late afternoon when I was there. Many other patrons were disappointed. I hatefried catfish and fried crawfish. Neither tasted fresh and I chose to to finish. Portion sizes were OK for the price. I wouldn?trecommend driving out of the way to eat here. Read more
