Best fried chicken I have ever had in a restaurant. I had baked apples, green beans and cornbread. Everything was delicious!!... Hubby had mashed potatoes that were slightly cold. Staff super attentive and friendly. Great value for the price. Onlydrawbacks for us: super out dated restrooms, and wished the potatoes had been warmer. Read more
Ordered a vegetable plate from the menu. Delicious. My husband said the Chicken Livers were delicious, too. Generous size... portions and very efficient, friendly service. They have a buffet if you are really hungry, but we got plenty ordering from themenu and saved a few $s. We were just passing through, but certainly plan to go back. Read more
This place is great. Fast and friendly service. If you want to know what southern fried chicken is supposed to taste like,... this is the place to go. It's the best I've come across. Their bread pudding is good too. Read more
The staff was very friendly and attentive and never had my drink run dry! The fried chicken was tasty! We had the buffet and... we're there at the end of the day so the rest was fair. I am sure it would have been better earlier in the day. Nice placethough. Read more

Stopped here while passing through on the way home from the beach. Did NOT get the buffet though it seemed really popular with... other customers. Ordered off of the menu which had a large selection and my family of 4, including 2 preschoolers, enjoyed ourmeals which is not common for us. Big portions, low prices, would stop again if ever in the area. Read more
$12 dinner buffet. Very family friendly staff. The food was alright, they had a good selection: fried chicken, some meat, and... some fried fish?, hush puppies, mashed potatoes, gravy, green beans, corn, a salad bar, soup, cobbler. Coffee, tea and water isincluded with the buffet. Read more
We ate at the food bar. It was hot, filling, and tasty comfort food at a decent price. It was just what we needed after a day of... hiking at Pilot Mountain. My only suggestion is the food bar needs to be labeled. My son is allergic to shellfish and almost atea crab cake thinking it was something else. Read more
