This is my favorite East coast winery! Bravo! I feel so special every time I visit them and enjoy our Jolotage every time we pop... the cork at home. When we head down there to pick up our quarterly pick up (300 miles away) we feel like we arrived at our homeaway from home. We feel so welcome and that comes through every time we sit and have a bottle of their goodness. We can’t waittill next pickup. Book our favorite cabin and then journey to our favorite NC winery. My wife, friend and I came to this location this past weekend and we had a great experience. We drank the Twingles (Brut... Style), and the Beach Bubbles sparkling wine and both were delicious. We also started our meal with a delicious Citron TunaSashimi (it is absolutely delicious!!!) and also the Crab Dip which was very good. For our entree I had the Dijon ApricotRosemary 1/2 Rack Lamb which was very tasty, only thing I didn’t enjoy too much was the amount of fat left in the lamb. Otherthan that it was very tasty. My wife and friend both had the Frutti De Mare which was light and very tasty. Overall we had agreat made better by our server, Maggie (MG). It was our first time at this location but it will definitely not be our last. Read more

I found JOLO on google maps while searching for a winery near me. It was a very last minute plan. I dressed in the morning like... I was going to be walking all day with a sports bra type top and a hoodie over it. I have to say I was not dressed for theoccasion or for wine tasting ???????? yet I along with my company felt very welcomed. From the host all the way to the winetasting, the experience was very pleasant. I’ve been to other places where people may judge us or look at as funny, but I amvery happy to say this was not the case here. Andrea was very helpful during the wine tasting. The owner also greeted us and Ididn’t know he was the owner. I am not a wine expert, but I love wine. I am very grateful for experiences like these, whereone feels welcomed. Thank you JOLO Winery. What an awesome place! Even though it took an exceptionally long time on this Easter Sunday to get our food, the scenery,... fabulous wine and our magnificent server made the wait quite palatable. Once our food arrived, it was quite delicious and wellworth the wait. We look forward to returning in the near future. Kudos to all employees for their hard work in making the dayand our time at the winery so very well worth our effort! Outstanding! Read more

Jolo Winery was one of the best wineries I have been to. Although not much to look at due to early spring, you could still grasp... how beautiful their location was. Perfectly secluded and peaceful with wonderful views all around. Our waitress Maja wasabsolutely fantastic and was very engaging with my table as well which is always the type of interaction you love to have! Idrive past almost every time I visit North Carolina so I will definitely be making another trip to include some more tastywines! Read more

Absolutely beautiful winery. My friends and I did a wine tasting with Levi, who was extremely helpful and informative. Beautiful... views all around. Parking is a little odd but didn’t take away from our experience. I look forward to visiting again! Read more

Experienced a very pleasant Sunday lunch at Jolo Winery. Many of our friends had suggested we try this NC winery for the last... few years. We finally had the opportunity and found some good things and found some things we that will prevent us from comingback. The good; menu, food, and inside restaurant decor were very good. The menu was solid and the food came out quickly andwas very good. The staff was okay, very young though, and willing to help as they were able. The not so pleasant/good; wine, outdoor seating view, and parking. Being a known and appreciated winery, this should have been the highlight. It really wasn't.The Rose' wine was good and much appreciated; however, the white and reds wines were disappointing. Not very dynamic and lackedany varietal depth and notes on the palette. The view outside made you feel like you were in the scrub brush of NC and not on avineyard. A small percentage of the field-of-view could actually see vines and they were 200+ yards away. Parking also seemed tobe small and unorganized. My lasting feeling was that this winery is a better restaurant than it was a winery. NC wineriesreally must work extra hard to break through the stigma that NC can't make quality wine. It can be done, we've seen andexperienced it. Just not at Jolo yet Read more
