They refused to seat people and make them wait with 3/4 of their tables empty. The manager came out and took over for the... hostess because she just kept making everyone wait through the dinner rush. I don't buy the "we can't seat people to avoidoverloading the kitchen/staff" BS either. I worked in the service industry for more than 10yrs in every fashion. Get customersseated with a cold drink and explain the kitchen may be a bit behind. That is way better than sitting in the lobby. The majorityof the staff moves in slo-mo without any sense of urgency. After 2 years of not eating here because the service was previously consistently lacking, I gave this Chili's another shot. Boy,... did they surprise me! I ordered my food through the app, and was happy to see that the prices hadn't increased too much fromwhat I remembered. I ordered my food for Car Side Pickup. The young lady who brought my food out was so pleasant! The name on myreceipt says "Shae", so I'm assuming that's her name. She came out of the building WITH A GENUINE SMILE, walking SWIFTLY to myvan! She was so polite that I will definitely return to this Chili's! It was nice to feel like she valued me as a customer andlike she is truly HAPPY at her job. Our server was great. We just dropped in for their monthly margarita, Beach Party margarita as we were traveling through Pine... Bluff. Our server that I missed her name was so friendly and got our drinks quickly. Worst experience ever, but not sure who to point the finger at. They weren't that busy, 6 or 7 tables including the bar patrons,... but it seems they are limited in staff. We were seated immediately and the hostess was very friendly. 22 minutes later someonecame to take our drink order and then our food order was taken quickly after that. The table next to us was 3 young women whowere loudly vocalizing about how bad their experience was, how slow the service was, and were cursing loudly and being verydisruptive. Then at the table behind them this woman kept slapping and screaming at her 4-ish year old son and LOUDLY screaminginfant daughter. I ordered an appetizer which was brought out well after the meal. The food was very good, but took forever tocome out. I asked for crackers for the soup, which I never got, and for extra ranch that I also never received. Refills werepretty much non-existent and we had to ask multiple people to get them. The girls in the booth next to us had way less issuesthan us and they got a discount but when our bill came we just got extra stuff added to the bill that wasn't ours. A hit and miss. Don't get me wrong chili's has some good food. Sometimes the food is served cold and takes way to long to get to... your table and other times it's served just right. Service was fantastic and the food was super yummy! Always love the Santa fe chicken salad. Jyan was very attentive! 2 things I... noticed. People were leaving because they were not approached for several minutes when they walked in anditwasn'tbusy. Also thewoman's restroom looked a trashy gas station bathroom. Horrible!!! Stood up front waiting on someone to seat me. No one ever showed up. I sat at the bar. No one came for a long time... and when she did come she was on her cell phone. She didn't hang up either. She pretty much stayed on her cell phone even whenshe would walk to the back. She brought out 3 drinks and took them to a table and sti never hung up!! The bar had all the platesand glasses in spots where people ate at. In front of me was all the dirty empty glasses from drinks. The food was cooked welland tasted good.
