Wonderful place and friendly staff. Excellent food.

We went twice in one day! Breakfast then lunch for a meat raffle. The meat raffle was packed, so we only got to do 3 rounds. The... service was a cluster with the machine not sending our order to the kitchen. The owner Don came out and apologized, sent in ourorder for Mini donuts that were delicious! Those were taken off our bill as well. The chicken wings were good, the kettle chipswere good and so was the ranch. All in all, the food is worth going back for! We had the walleye sandwich very disappointed as there were 2 walleye fingers and a piece about the size of a chicken nugget on... a hoagie bun and they charged $13.00 the fish did not even fill half the hoagie so basically we had a bread lettuce sandwich!! Read more

came here for a mud bog and all your trying to do is copy howies, or any other mud event. we got kicked off the property by the... owner, because HE hit OUR truck. threatened to call the cops if we didn't leave even though you kept saying get out of your car.it was 30 dollers to get into the event for the day, the event was NOT worth no 30 dollers. had only a half thing of bleachers,no garbage cans any where, and only a few porta potty. you shook our hand and said the whole thing was one and done, but yet.pull this. how is it OUR fault YOU hit our parked truck? that's your only issue you have. only put one star because there wasnice trucks to watch. I had the Maverick burger on Saturday and the Maverick grilled cheese sandwich on Sunday and I thought they were pretty good. It... was packed but the service was still pretty good. This is definitely a unique and quirky little restaurant. Sometimes you have to wait your own table and keep track of your own... bill... But that's just part of the awesome atmosphere. Also, the owner, bartender, and cook (who was all the same guy when westopped by with a large group) came out periodically to tell our table some Ole & Lena and Sven jokes. There decor is eclecticbut well maintained and not messy or cluttered, definitely enough to keep your eyes busy. You can build rockets and shoot themoff in the backyard.
