We went to Gracie?s to celebrate the birthday of a dear friend. This restaurant was great! The food, the ambience, and the... service were all exceptional. It had a very European feel to it. Have been going to this restaurant for 10 years. My recent meal for 4 was not even close to being half the money. Food was small... portions, service was fast, but not close to fine dining servers. Just go to this place. You can taste the love in every single dish. Everyone is happy to work here and it shows. The setting is... the most eclectic luxurious interior restaurant I've been to. The eggplant Capri and magic mushroom soup were a litany offlavors. We split a Caesar salad and suttle yet poignant. I had the shrimp and crab crepe with an etoifee that exploded in mymouth. John had the Norwegian Halibut that could not have been fresher. Applied pie and creme brulee finished us off. Everysingle thing was exquisite. Gracie has been in the kitchen for 34 years.
