Food and service was very good. Staff was friendly. I had the egg and meat omelette, my nephews had a chocolate chip pancake, a... piece of French toast and bacon which was good. They had some large doughnuts that looked good but we were to full to try one. Read more

We stopped in on our way to a wedding for breakfast. The women who work here are wonderfully kind and the breakfast sandwiches... were delicious. Recommend stopping in! Read more

Ugh, where to start. Lovely ladies, very pleasant.. A lot of working going on, but how the heck does it take 25 minutes for a... bacon egg and cheese. Messed up my order, I didn't want correct sandwich because I didn't want to wait another half hour.Needless to say I drove home and made my own bacon egg in cheese in less time (even stopped for bacon on the way) This was not aone off experience. If you don't mind the wait and you're not in a rush for your Average sandwich it's an ok place. Read more

Pine Plains is a small quiet town so if you are looking for a home cooked meal, and more importantly hometown service and a... hometown feel and look no further than ?moose on the loose? I had breakfast and the coffee and everything was absolutelydelicious and all the seats in this small little deli were awful with locals discussing call matters of local politics andevents. The staff was overly friendly and welcoming and even though I didn?t even ask for it they gave me the military discountwith a sincere show of gratitude and thanks. The locals know about this place Everyone else should too, and if you are one ofthose city people that tend to destroy our local communities please treat this one with respect because they deserve it. Edit from previous review. .ust have been a good day for all the ladies on my first visit. Can't say the same for the other... times I've been here. This last time was the best. They forgotten my order and I waited over 40 minutes for a sausage egg andcheese and a special. Come on, they you ask me if I still want it. I didn't say anything, what I wanted was a comped Sandwichor a 10% discount, not a "do you still want the Sandwich " Like I'm less hungry after 40 minutes. At least a cookie thrown inthe bag. But that what happens when you are the only game in town. Read more

I 100% agree with the review below me. The older female staff is very friendly. The middle age guy that?s at the register is... absolutely miserable. He makes you feel extremely uncomfortable. He obviously hates his job and takes it out on every customerthat walks in. He should be working in the back somewhere and should never deal with customers. I don?t normally write manyreviews but I definitely felt I needed to write this. Food is below average. It?s a small town with not many options so that?sthe only reason this place does any business. AVOID if possible. Read more

Popped in here for a quick breakfast and loved it! I was planning on taking my food to go but since they were so friendly and... the place was cute, I stayed to eat in. The service is great, the food and coffee were good, and the other patrons were veryfriendly as well. Being a city girl I found it unusual at first when people sitting at other tables started to bring me intotheir convos and then it was like I was part of their group. It turned my very stressful morning around. Read more
