This place was wonderful! I came up for a visit and it was the closest restaurant, but I loved it so much the first time we ate... there, that we ended up eating there several more times. Everything I ordered, from Biscuits and Gravy to the Bites Burger tothe Shrimp Trio to the Walleye dinner, was absolutely delicious! Read more
From a very picky eater, Extremely pleasant experience in everyway! My granddaughter had the kids burger with tots, Husband had... the mushroom swiss burger with battered fries, and I had the Walleye shore lunch with battered fries. First of all this placewas very clean, bathrooms to everywhere. Our server Michael was very welcoming and had great suggestions. The food was tasty andnot greasy, which is hard to find. The service was fast and friendly. We were checked on many times throughout our meal. All theother customer's commented how good the food was. There are food specials daily and monthly food and drink specials as well.This place was far beyond a five star! We honestly can't wait to come back again and bring our family and friends! The ambience was pleasent and our server was friendly. Food was OK.. Fish sandwich was great. They ran out of the prime rib... special so my wife ordered the prime rib sandwich which was like eating shoe leather. She didn't alert the waitress as we werewith friends. Our dogs did enjoy it. Read more
Five guest; five bad meals and service was poor. Sorry to say, but we recommended this place and it was very disappointing. ... Steak ordered medium came well tough/chewy; had a pile of gristle on my plate size of steak. Beef stroganoff too many noodlesand no gravy and bleached out beef on top. Pot roast two thin slices of beef topped with mushroom gravy with nomushrooms/tough. Walleye done right, but tasteless. Salmon overcooked. Sides were good, but waitress got three of fiveordered wrong. Waitress forgot Caesar salad until almost done. We all left a large portion of each meal; no doggy bagsnecessary. And waitress broke glass when bringing drink. Never write reviews, but such a disappointing experience, nochoice. Read more
Came on a Thursday evening for dinner . Nice place . Out of walleye out of Chicken Alfredo. Was only 700pm. Waitress took 20... minutes to bring our drinks, forgot about our appetizers, then said she would let us take them home only to tell us no walleyebites either. Food we did end up getting was good. We usually come up every summer and have always had good service and greatfood . Very disappointed this year. Read more
Decent but heavy food. We stopped here recently and tried quite a few things. My shrimp pasta was ok but could have used... something to brighten it up a bit as it was pretty heavy. The curds were good and fried well. The broccoli cheddar soup wasfantastic, but the shrimp basket and the Mac and cheese were a disappointment, both pretty greasy and dry. As far as servicegoes, everyone was very friendly but our waitress didn?t come back very often. It?s worth a stop if you?re passing through PineRiver. We will definitely be giving them another shot. The bites were fabulous , bartender was very pleasant! We did the shrimp bites with a Thai peanut sauce & the brown sugar... chicken bites with a homemade steak sauce, both were very good. Leo also had the pot roast sandwich with grilled onions & gravywhich he enjoyed with tater tots. Read more
