I?m so sorry I didn?t take pictures of this place because I was so amazed by this place! It was such an unexpected gift on our... trip. Incredibly friendly staff and owner, phenomenal views from unit 11 and lakeside dining that blew us away! What a wonderfulhidden gem. Very nice wine selection and good food offerings for sure! I really hate to promote this diamond because I don?twant to overwhelm the staff, so I?m sorry for no pics but trust me, you?ll love this beautiful spot on this mountain lake!Horseback riding is big here so if that?s your thing book a saddle as well! It is one of my favorite places near my hometown! Service was pretty good. They forgot the chicken for my salad so I had to wait... for my food while everyone else was eating. Other than that, everything was good! Read more
I am not one to write bad reviews but hopefully this will help someone else out. The views were beautiful from cabin #3 which... over looked the lake, and the cabin was cute and cozy. We went down to the lodge to grab some breakfast and the staff was veryunenthusiastic. We were not even given a menu but rather offered a choice of three items when we said we were there forbreakfast (oatmeal, a pretzel, or a breakfast burrito). We both opted for the burrito and coffee since we weren't given all thechoices that are listed on their menu in the book that was in the cabin. There was no one else in the lodge other than us andthe man working the front desk/waiting on us. We sat outside on the patio which had some good lake views but it took 20 minutesfor the man helping us to return. He first brought us our burritos, which seemed like they were a day old and barely even warm.Then half way through our meal he finally brought us our coffee (isn't that always supposed to come first). We were there on aTuesday so maybe weekend service is better, but I would not recommend eating at the restaurant unless you want to wait and bedisappointed. Read more
We had dinner at the lodge last night This is one of the best meals I have had in years The service was over the top. I had... huckleberry cheesecake for dessert ? it was AMAZING. It was actually a little sad that the lodge was over 1/3 empty with thequality of food and service they offer. We try to come out as often as possible when we are in the area. I wish I didn?t have to give it one star to post. I am not one to write negative reviews but hopefully this will keep people... from making the same mistake we did this evening. We went to the restaurant for dinner and it was by far the worst experiencewe?ve had in a really long time. The location is absolutely gorgeous but the food and service was terrible. The $45 (marketvalue) ribeye (which looked like a flat iron) was over done and had no taste. The $20 Fettuccine Alfredo was the serving size ofa kids meal pasta and had no taste. It was outrageously overpriced for such low quality food. For how bad the food was, we stillforced it down because we had been waiting for 45 minutes and we?re starving by that point and couldn?t wait any longer for newmeals. The service was nonexistent and when we mentioned how the $45 steak was over done the 16 year old waiter (who served usalcohol? illegal?) snapped at us and was completely unprofessional.
