Higher priced but not disappointed. We were really just looking for some good quick burgers to go when we pulled to the curb in... downtown Pinedale to find a place to eat and happened to have stopped right in front of Stockman?s. There burgers seemed priceyat $20 ea. but were large and up to par on quality. Good enough that we didn?t regret the price tag. The food I saw being servedto neighboring tables while waiting looked great as well. The servers seemed a little disoriented at first and it took at leasta good 10 to 15 minutes before being helped. After that service was good and they were helpful in getting our order to go so wecould get back on the road. I did notice numerous replies from the restaurant thanking good reviews but neglecting to respond tomediocre or negative reviews. I would love to see more attention to these as they represent opportunities for improvement. Iwill definitely be back to try other items on the menu when in town and we have more time to sit down for a meal. Read more
Service was great but the food was not. Husband got the $42 filet. It was tiny. Maybe 3oz. There was hardly any food on the... plate. It tasted good but $42??? I got the chicken and waffles. The chicken thighs were terrible. The skin on top could havebeen made into shoes. I don?t understand how you can turn chicken skin into leather but they accomplished it. The whole thingwas so sweet it all just tasted like sugar. Our daughter had the Mac n cheese. It was grainy. We won?t be back. Read more
While visiting Pinedale for our grandsons' wrestling tournament, we enjoyed a fabulous prime rib and NY steak dinner with all... the fixings! The food, wine, and beer were excellent!!! David, who visited our table for quality check, was very personableand engaged in wrestling stories with us and it was fun to visit with him. After the tournament the next day, we went back toStockman's and enjoyed a cheeseburger and fries and fish & chips. Again, the food and service were excellent and we wereattended by Traci, first class wait staff, and David recognized us and we enjoyed another chat about the tournament. Went here on our last day in Pinedale. They were having a soft opening and it was pretty packed, so we knew we had made a good... choice! The staff were very friendly and attentive. They have domestic beers for $1 during Happy Hour (4:30-6) and the food wasabsolutely amazing! If you are around the area I would highly recommend making your way here! Read more
