Its been years since I've been to BJ's. I decided to order what I know. I ordered the panko crusted chicken and a lemon drop... drink. I didn't like the lemon drop so my waitress Valarie had it removed. Valarie was nice, prompt and always reachable. Greatservice!! We also had the ribs & tri-tip. The BBQ sauce was delicious so we ordered more sauce for dipping. The only thing Iwould change is the black pepper on the ribs. It is a bit overwhelming but still good food. The server/bartender NEVER ran any of our food -- she stayed socializing behind the bar with some other server throughout the... whole visit. She ignored us, several times I made eye contact trying to get another drink ordered or let her know we neededsomething. She'd just smile and break eye contact and continue her social conversations. I am stressing the importance of thisbecause I felt completely ignored, drinks took more than 5 minutes, our appetizer was delayed by more than 5 unnecessary minutes(based on a normal 10-12min delivery expectation, based on how slow service was and how many servers were standing aroundchatting), and our entrees took more than 20 minutes from the time we ordered to be set down on the table, and all we orderedwas a flatbread and medium rare, precooked slice of beef. There was absolutely no reason for the delays we experienced otherthan the inattentiveness of the bartender who made it clear customers were NOT her priority. Again, no managers wereseen walking around the dining rooms or engaging with customers. There was one guy who looked like a manager that kept comingout behind the bar to count things on a chart, but he paid no mind to the service his staff was providing his guests. After Ilet the server know I was upset with the food being overcooked, delayed, and her service felt like it was lacking, only then dida manager appear: Kyle, the kitchen manager, who came out arms folded expecting to deal with some cranky customers (yes, that'sthe attitude I felt from this kid), and listen to me complain about whatever. I tried to explain to him that I felt like thefood being dry was not the kitchen's fault, that the bartender had been socializing and ignoring us the entire visit. Hisresponse: "well, I can't really do anything about it right now while everyone is working, I can't embarrass her." My parents went in for dinner & were so happy with their service. They were not sure what they wanted to eat but luckily Bj's... has a great menu with a lot to choose from. My mom had the power bowl with grilled salmon, and my dad had the Parm crustedchicken. they got Togo pizzas as well that also looked amazing. I know the reviews on this place are hit and miss, but man, sit and the bar and order happy our, you won’t be disappointed or... dissatisfied! The chicken thighs are to die for! I recommend getting the Nashville hot ones. The Brussels, I didnt even likethem before, but bj’s turned me 180 and now I LOVE THEM! Every time we go, we fill our table with food during happy hourbecause it’s just so good!! I wish I had more photos to show, I just dig right in, there’s no time for photos! Read more
It wasn't all bad. It’s clean inside. The staff are attentive. The only dish I liked was my husband's order. The salad was... average. Burgers for kids for 3 *. Maybe we ordered the wrong dishes, I'll try to give this place another chance Read more
Diverse menu! Shared plates, delicious pizza, great service and nice pricing (except Stella beer was $8.50 a bottle). Flights... of beer are offered, many taps of IPA and craft beers. We thoroughly enjoyed the Brussel Sprouts. Plentiful to share anddelicious. They offer very good pizza as well as sandwiches, salads, full dinners and great Happy Hour. I'd recommend BJ'sBrewhouse to anyone looking for a nice dinner or bar conversation at their large bar area. Read more
