Three stars is for the fries. Fries were great. Use to love checkers burgers. I got two double checker burgers and the patties... were small and over cooked. Ice machine not working. The coke tasted horrible. So changed to a sprite but with no ice. Sodrinking a sprite that wasn?t cold. Come on checkers. You use to be so good. Probably won?t go back again. Read more

I don?t usually do fast-food reviews because, you know?it?s fast-food. BUT, I?ve gone to this location twice in the last 2 weeks... to give them a chance before a bad review. Not sure how long they?ve gone to an automated voice system for taking orders, butI?d figured this would give hands more time to focus on their fast-food craft. Well, I opened my sandwich and had thought it wasa burger because it was darker than the usual spicy chicken I?m used to. This has occurred twice. Absolutely horrible. It waslike biting into a fresh, new, salted sponge, but the sponge would?ve tasted better. Fries were great, though, but that?s theirpride and joy. Please do yourself a favor and don?t come here. Came here tonight and bought a Texas toast steak burger and large fry. Let's be real: The only reason you should be going to... Checker's for is the fries. They are unique and one of the best seasoned fries around. These did not disappoint, as they werehot crispy and fresh, straight from the fryer. The steak burger however, really wasn't that good. The two pieces of Texas toastwas soggy from grease, butter and mayo. The Patty itself was dry resulting in this weird combination of a grease soaked yetdried out texture. The onion straws were alright, and probably the best thing about the otherwise bland greasy mess. Servicewas fast and friendly though, and the fries were awesome. Read more
