I don?t know why I haven?t raved about this place sooner. This is definitely my favorite go to spot for ribs. The establishment... is clean & well maintained..... I always look for that. The weekly specials never disappoints me and I can?t say enough aboutthe food portions. My go to meal is the $10 Rib dinner with 2 sides.... trust me when I say it?s so well with it. Do you like real wood fired barbecue? Good, eat here. Seriously go right now! Famous Jay's BBQ is the perfect place to satisfy... that desire. A no frills BBQ joint that focuses on the meat. What really solidifies Famous Jay's BBQ at 5 Stars though is thereunbelievably great prices. For how much labor and love clearly goes into Famous Jay's BBQ it's amazing how inexpensive the foodis. They cook their dry rubbed bbq over burning logs. While that might seem simple enough, you would be surprised how many BBQrestaurants get this part wrong. I can tell you from first hand experience they use wood plain and simple. Sides are tasty theservice is great what more can you ask for. Where else are you going to get a rib dog for 2 bucks? Quick note: The house sauceis a mustard based sweet BBQ Sauce. It is delicious but the sweet can be overpowering if you prefer a more savory sauce. Don'tget me wrong it is very good. My 1st time in today. Ordered the rib dinner with green beans and baked beans on the side. The ribs were delicious. Smokey with... the right amount of tug off the bone. I was worried about the sauce at first view because it had a mustard look, but it was verytasty indeed and I enjoyed it. Both beans were very good and clearly homemade. I liked my meal so much that when finished Iordered a pulled pork dinner with the same sides to go for my dinner latter on. I will definitely be back to try some offeringson the menu. Read more

I got my mom a rib sandwich and a dozen crabs for myself. This is my second time ordering crabs with them and let me just say... they have the best crabs. They are so meaty not one crab was hollow. Wish you guys were open 24/7. First time ordering from this place and they forgot my order but when my order did come it was... terrific. Ribs was sauced with the right amount of sauce. Mac n cheese taste like my moms; cheesy. And the green beans was myfavorite. Thanks Famous Jays. Read more
Tough dry microwaved meat x baked beans inedible due to high cinnamon content x the. Mac n cheese is just that they dont blend... together..the pies are cinnamon dusted..what's jay famous for? Read more
