I placed quite a large order for an office function then, because of a late season hurricane, rescheduled our event and our... pickup date due to the storm. The day before our event, I called five or six times, trying to reconfirm our pickup but no onepicked up the phone. Most companies now offer an option to receive a call back, but this is not the case with HBH. I arrivedfor my pick up and they had no record that my order pickup date had been rescheduled - only that it had been canceled. Noworries, they had plenty of product but instead of having everything ready, I had to wait while they got everything together. As I was checking out, I mentioned that it was for an office event and asked if unused product could be returned if it wasunopened and the manager said yes, no problem. I returned a couple hours later to return the unused portion and everyonescattered and the manager said, uh, just a moment and went into the back. Ten minutes later, he came back out and said, we cangive you a gift card in the amount of the return but we can't give you a refund. WHAT?! There was no mention of this when Ispecifically asked if items could be returned. I do not need a gift card - I needed a refund to my credit card. What would havebeen a very happy customer is now a VERY DISSATISFIED and ANGRY customer. Read more
We received exceptional service from Jeff today even though we walked in just a few minutes 'til close. We'd planned a whole... meal for the next day around their fabulous chocolate layer cake only to find out it wasn't in stock. Jeff was kind enough togive us a discount on what we did buy to make the experience less frustrating. I felt like he valued our business and that's agood feeling to have. Excellent ham! There is sweetness at the edges but the meat is good solid delicious HAM, not overdone with sugar or salt or any... kind of processed vibe. And the service was first rate. I wanted to drop some off for my uncle in nearby assisted living. Ihad brought a tupperware container with me but didn't think to bring a knife/fork or anything to portion some out for him. Thesales guy took my ham to the back and cut out some neat slices to fit the container, which looked a whole LOT nicer than metrying to pull and tear slices apart with my hands! Read more
The Honey Baked Ham Company in Pinellas Park is bringing customer service to the next level. When I arrived to pick up my... preordered ham and turkey the line was out the door and wound it's way down the sidewalk as far as I could see. It took me a fewminutes to find a place to park and I took my place in line wondering if I would get back to our RV Resort before morning. To mysurprise the line moved quickly and the staff kept the customers upbeat with offering samples and random quips to lighten themood. When it was finally my turn to pick up my order the young woman waiting on me made sure I got a free Honey Baked HamClassic Signature ham sandwich to eat on the hour long drive back to the RV camp. Love the idea of The Honey Baked Ham for thanksgiving, this was my second year of picking up thanksgiving dinner and it?s just... not there . All frozen sides when prepared as directed just taste like a tv dinner and very salty . The Turkey is so specificlyflavored it ruins it and again very salty , ham just okay . It?s just not there .
