Great place to go skate! Unfortunately, public skating times are only during the week now and are shorter. The rental skates are... really nice for a public rink! The food is great, and the rate is good for unlimited skating! The bathrooms were clean.Definitely will be coming again soon, but I hope that they will adjust the time to give more time for public skating during theweekend. Read more
I came here recently with my boyfriend and we had SO MUCH FUN! The atmosphere was incredible, they had fun music playing and... dimmed the lights so it felt very intimate and cozy. The rental skates available were of good quality and fit well, and they hadspaces to put your real shoes whole you skated. Definitely would come again! Read more
This rink closed down for a couple months and then when they reopened they increased their freestyle prices a whopping 40%. They... used to offer 2.5 hrs of skating for $10 and now its $15 for 1.5 hrs. Back when they were so much cheaper to skate at thanExtreme Ice I used to love this rink because it was a great deal. Now it hardly seems worth it to skate here when you can go toExtreme Ice and pay the same prices with way better accommodations and two ice surfaces. I feel like they really lost theirlocal competitive edge with this huge and sudden price jump. Read more
Great rink with small town charm. Would have given 5 stars if the skating guards would control some of the behaviors from some... of the public skaters who were throwing footballs across the rink, doing tricks along the rails, skating in the wrong direction,and having no concern for other skaters. The price of public skate is comparable to other rinks. There is a Sports bar withtypical bar-style food, which is actually pretty good. Sometimes seating is difficult, but if you are a spectator, the bar is anice place to sit and stay warm. Read more
This was my first visit to the Ice House. It appears to be a hip, popular place for pre-teens/teens/young adults to hang out.... Loved the music and neon lights, cool vibe and literally cool ?? bring a flannel/sweater. Read more
Really nice ice rink. Friendly polite staff, tons of parking, easy to get to and clean feeling. Small place to grab food... inside, and tons of seating on upper and lower deck. Certainly much nicer than other skate locations in the Charlotte areas. Highly recommend. Read more
The staff is happy, helpful and knowledgeable. Most of all, our kids love it. Otherwise it's a pretty basic stating rink. Good... beer at the bar, and standard sports food offering. It's not super fancy but we keep coming back with a smile and it seems to bea bustling business. Read more
Nice ice arena, but could use some more spectator seating on the main floor. Good snack bar. 2nd floor seating is OK and adds... to the seating capacity. The new proshop is a quality addition. Read more
