Great place just to chill with the locals & have great food at a great price!!
This is my second time here in the last 3 weeks. The menu isn?t huge but what they serve is worth the visit, especially for a... small hole in the wall. I had the steak burrito on one visit and the chicken burrito on this visit and it comes with twoauthentic style red and green salsas that will remind you of the kind served in Chicago. The bartender, Katelynn is awesome, sheis so nice and attentive, and is really friendly. They also have pitchers of beer, always a plus. Outpost tavern is clean,inviting and I highly recommend stopping here, even if it?s for a steak taco and a beer. Thumbs up! Read more
I look forward to Fish fry Fridays at Outpost. Pizzas are great, too. Friday, coming from Treatment at Sherman all day, really... looking forward to picking up at Outpost. I phoned close to 5 pm to place an order. Waitress put me on hold for 16 minutes. Icould hear her talking to customers . I tried calling back several times, busy signals. Ordered take out from another place. Iremember week before I stopped in to pick up order, a customer had to shout to waitress she had a customer. She was chattingwith customer end of bar. Not a great experience, unfortunately. We ordered cream of broccoli soup and it came out cold in a styrofoam cup. We let the... waitress know and she did apologize and took the soups. She brought them back out, one was full and one was half empty which shenoticed and then said one was half empty when it was brought back. It wasn?t and nonetheless why wouldn?t you just give us newsoups? Also, was it like microwaved or how was it warmed up? Yuck. The fish fry was okay. We did notice a bunch of butter on ourplates for the dinner rolls we never got. We let the waitress know and she was apologetic but by that time we were done eatingand we didn?t feel like chasing her down again. She was busy running the bar and she was very nice, however, as far as customerservice goes, I would have not charged us for the soups or at least just made us new ones. It?s a bummer because it is moneyspent for subpar food and not the best experience. I gave it a 2 star instead 1 because she was genuinely busy and was trying. Read more
Good location for a great local neighborhood bar. Friendly & helpful staff. Fun & easy going atmosphere full of locals. ... Awesome thin crust pizza! You won't go wrong! Dine in or take out is available. Plenty of beer options on tap. Open everyday at11am. Stop by to watch your favorite sport teams on one of the many tvs or just relax with a beer after a long workday. Willdefinitely be going back. Read more
Have been going here for the past two summers every Friday. They have great beer league volleyball with two courts. The food is... really good as well. I recommend the taco salad or buffalo chicken wrap. Only two minor issues are that the seating out by thecourts is outdated and ball retrieval. New picnic benches would be amazing. Plus some nets for the back of the courts so theydont go into the trees. Overall I recommend coming here. Staff is very friendly. Read more
A nice clean dive vibe bar. It's right off route 20 and very easy to get to. I've driven by this place 100's of time and this... past weekend was the first time I went to enjoy this establishment. I'm glad I did the beers are cold and the vibe was right. There was people outside in the back but we didn't make it that far but I'll make sure to check it out next time I am here. Read more
