Best ramen I have had in a long time. Ordered the tan tan as it was. Broth was flavorful and the noodles were cooked perfect.... The chashu pork was yummy. Service was also friendly. Prices were a bit on the high side but worth it. Read more

My wife and I have been looking for a local sushi place with a menu featuring more interesting vegetarian options for her and we... are happy to have found Happy Ramen and Sushi. The menu had all of our regular favorites as well as some interesting optionsthat we are excited to try in the future. The tempura was done perfectly as was the croquette. I had a rainbow roll. The portionand price was what just what I would expect. The roll itself was fresh and delicious, so compliments to the chef. The host andwaiting staff were friendly and attentive. The bathroom was impressively clean and kept. Read more

The experience is extremely underwhelming. The decor has a chintzy vibe like it's stuck in the 80s with blue accent lights and... imitation stone tables. All of which would have been easily overlooked had it not been for the food. We ordered a soft shellcrab sushi roll which came in 5 pieces that were majority rice. The softshell crab was breaded and fried. I understand wantingto make margins as the place was pretty much empty on a Friday night but by compromising on quality it makes me want to not comeagain. The broth for the ramen was hollow and had giant oil blobs to hide the corners that were cut. The perfect symbolicproblem was that it came with grilled bacon strips instead of chashu. This felt like an imitation of the food it is supposed tobe. Read more

Went to this highly-starred restaurant to celebrate my new job and the reviews did not disappoint. My partner and I each got the... black garlic ramen, and the spider roll to share. In all honesty, we probably could have shared the ramen, too! The ramen wascooked to a medium texture and the rebirth was beautifully emulsified. The edges of the the chashu were exceptionally flavory, and I thought the grill marks added a nice touch. The eggs were delicious (I actually got extra), and I liked all the toppingsthat came standard. The spider roll was also super good. It was the first one I ordered where they took the time to give us“spider-legs,” and I really appreciated that, while there was an abundance of sauce, the pieces of sushi were not actuallyover-sauced themselves. I was quite pleased with that. Overall, a nice find. Perhaps the sushi was a bit pricey for theportion, but the ramen more than made up for it and everything tasted really good. Read more

I ordered a to go sushi roll, and it was awesome! Everything about the Lion King roll was perfection. I will definitely come... back to try other rolls! Plus the server who gave me my food was very nice and even waived the fee for being under the amountallowed to use a credit card. Read more

Fast and friendly service. Sushi and sashimi was tasty. The only thing we didn't care for was the gyoza, it was fried in a... fryer not pan fried so it was dry. Other than that we enjoyed our visit Read more

02/13/2022 **A mask is needed to enter, and as of today's visit, the sign says "proof of vaccination is required"; when we... stepped in, we weren't asked for it, but we showed it anyway.** Fabulous new place!! A must-try! My husband and I have beenwaiting for this place to open (thanks, COVID), and luckily, they were able to finally do so. The inside is lovely, spacious andbright. Our server was so kind and fast after we ordered. I was sitting in a place where I could watch my sushi beingprepared--boy, was that cool! The two sushi chefs know their trade very well, and I was excited to see my meal. It wasabsofruitly wonderful! My husband got unagi don, a spicy tuna roll, and an Alaska roll. His meal came with miso soup, and asmall salad. He raved about each of them. I got a miso soup, small salad, and a 49'er roll--one of the best I've ever had. Themiso soup seems to be a dashi + miso base, which some people might find a bit too fishy (I gave half of mine to myhusband). The menu isn't exorbitant, but its got a decent selection. It has enough regular staple sushi and sashimi orders tosatisfy most sushi eaters, and the selection of ramen options is great--I'll be coming back for that when I've got more of anappetite. From what I saw of our distantly neighboring patron's meals, they're generous servings, and the contents lookdelicious! There was a steady stream of customers coming in while we were enjoying our meal, but there's plenty of room andspace, so we weren't all squashed together. As a vaccinated, COVID-conscious person, I felt comfortable eating here. It was adate for my husband and myself away from kids and out in the world, the first we've had in two years! The outside of the littleplace isn't fancy, almost unnoticeable, but it's worth coming inside and giving them a try. All the old adages apply: "Don'tjudge a book by its cover" , and "Looks can be deceiving". Inside the nondescript restaurant is a hidden gem!! Read more

Ordered three roles to go. Ready in about 15 minutes at 5:30 PM on a Thursday. The restaurant seemed very clean and the... employees were attentive. The roles are tasty and fresh and good size. I’m happy to have another sushi option in theneighborhood. Excited to try the ramen next! Read more
