The food was excellent. The atmosphere is friendly inviting and feels like family. The food was very tasty and the cook does not... use salt. Excellent flavor. Good size portions. And I'll say it one more time super friendly. Read more

It took a while to get be acknowledged upon arrival. Pleasant waitress. Food did not take to long to arrive. I had a grilled... cheese with the brisket and I added fried eggs on the sandwich and it was excellent. My partner had fried eggs and brisketwith home fries and his meal arrived cold. Once the temp was fixed he said it was excellent. My dad had fried pork chop andeggs and he said it was plain and over cooked. Overall I would recommend on the brisket! Service was good to okay. I might goagain if I am in pinole. Read more

Good size selection of breakfast and lunch items. Went on a Sunday around noon. Had maybe a 15-20 min wait but we'll worth it. ... The pork belly bowl with eggs cooked to order was excellent with the pork belly fried and tender. Added the kids menu frenchtoast and bacon which was cheaper than ala carte. One in the group got the bourbon French toast which was good. Another had thefeta cheese omelet. All were happy with selections. Prices very reasonable. No bar. Wonderful wait staff. No reservationsthat I could tell. Walk in and write your name and party size and whether you prefer inside or out or no preference. Not alarge place so arrive early. Parking on street or lot across the street. Visiting from out of town. Hope to return. Read more

A very solid breakfast/brunch spot. I was excited to try it when I saw they offered some Filipino dishes, but the majority of... the menu is standard breakfast/brunch fare. My friend and I shared the bistek silog and the pork belly bowl. They were bothtasty but lacking in Filipino flavors. The menu item was actually listed as "Adobo pork belly bowl" but the pork belly wasdefinitely not adobo. It was tasty because it was cooked very crispy and there was an adobo tasting drizzle of sauce, but Iwouldn't describe it as Adobo. The bistek silog was tasty. The beef was nice and tender, lots of sauteed onions but the riceseemed like just plain rice, if it was garlic rice I couldn't taste it under the egg and sauce. The specials menu listed ubepancakes but when we were seated (around 11:30), our server said they were out of them. I'll definitely come back the next timewe get brunch out, and I've got my eye on either the corned beef or the lugaw. Read more

It's sweet going in there, because she greets her regulars by name, and I imagine there are a lot. Go hungrybecause portions are large, but your bill will not be Read more

I don't know how I didn't know about this place until now. Food was great and fulfilling! Service was upbeat and fast. Little... hole in the wall that seems to cater to "usuals" but I think I've become one now! Parking can be difficult and they are a smallrestaurant with minimal seating. Read more

Favorite halfway spot to meet friends in SF if you’re in north Bay Area. Right in downtown Pinole, close to street and city... public parking. Food is Filipino-California Fusion. A must try for those seeking good eats at an excellent price. I hope theymake it at least to Michelin Guides, food is really very good. The place is a mom and pop’s family owned restaurant. IfAnthony Bourdain was still alive, he would enjoy this place. Read more
