The atmosphere is fantastic even with the smoke from the CalDor fire. Thank you to all the fire fighters and first... responders. All the food was great fried pickles, chili burger on open bun, wilderness burger was great, I ordered a 8oz nexttime 4oz, good portions. Great place. Read more

Rustic coolness and magnificent mountain location is awesome at Ham's Station! Small business excellence is found in this hole... in the wall type spot! Friendly owner and small town camaraderie. Cabins are available for overnight stay, too. Read more
Best place to eat if you are traveling east or west on highway 88. Great food and lots of it, chef is top notch and the service... is very good. This is a must stop if you are road tripping on highway 88 for breakfast, lunch or dinner. Read more
Much improved, under new ownership. Worth a visit. Last time I visited, about two years ago, the place was dumpy but it has... since changed ownership and the new owner has been upgrading the place. The refreshed deck is a great place to hang out after aday in the mountains. The bar used to be dank and dark and now it's pretty clean and nice. The owner seems to be adding somenew cabins as well. The brunch is pretty typical and done well. I had the cheese mushroom omelet. Coffee is average. AlthoughI didn't have any they appear to have a good selection of beers at the bar. Read more
