We so wanted to like this adorable restaurant, but left very disappointed. The poor waitress was either over-worked or it was... her first day, simple things like leaving silverware or straws, touching the table to check how our food was, checking forrefill drinks, never occurred. His baby back ribs were barely heated up, warm on outside but still cold on the inside. Myseafood platter was ok, no tarter sauce, no cocktail sauce, not even a bottle of ketchup. No sooner had we walked out the doorand then the worst stomach pains that I ever experienced started which kept me near the bathroom for the rest of the night. Ok so about 8 or 9 yrs ago I accidentally stubbled onto this restaurant and it was amazing. We had ribs and steak and chicken a... wide variety and my whole family enjoyed it. Well, after all this time I came back. I ordered a 14oz steak and my wife a 10 oz.and we added shrimp , had some onion rings and marinated slaw and bbq baked beans and a salad . I have to say few places canmatch the level of food that was served to us. It was phenomenal. and for any nay sayers on here who say otherwise. I doubtyour ability to judge food. I?m from out of town and saw all of the good reviews and figured I?d give it a try. I was visiting the area for the weekend for... my girlfriends birthday as a nice getaway. I called ahead and asked if they could possibly do something for my girlfriend as asurprise since it was her birthday. They said they?d definitely do that and that they?d get a dessert out for her. We arrivedand they never brought a desert out. The waitress was kind of rude didn?t seem to happy. The chefs in the back were really loudwith shouting out orders which is out of place for a quiet dinner when there?s only one other table in the restaurant besidesyou. The bbq had a lot of fat. The Mac n cheese wasn?t heated evenly as well. I?m sure this isn?t the normal for this place, butI had a bad overall experience. The owner Brandon was very nice. Read more

If I could give 0 stars I would.. At the end of July, my Mom had a celebration of life service for my Poppy, who passed December... 2020. She decided, as it wasn?t many options at the time, to use Brandon?s as her caterer. She told him that she needed food for35 ppl. I?ve personally worked in food service for over 17 years now and am still in shock that she got ripped off the way shedid. You see, when you are catering for x amount of ppl, there should be enough food for said ppl. Between the pot roast andpotatoes, there wasn?t enough for even 10ppl. The veggie tray didn?t come with dip, as promised. The cooler which had sodas andwater appeared as if they just came from a fishing trip. Completely filthy and disgusting! The chicken could have been cookedfor another 20 minutes at least. The cakes tasted good, however, the chocolate cake was falling apart. In the food industry,presentation is everything. Each item she requested was 1 pan, not even full and nowhere near close to feeding 35 people. TheMac and cheese had a strange taste and wasn?t at all what we expected. I?ve never personally been inside this restaurant, butthe catering sucks. They charged $1,300.00 for food that probably couldn?t have even fed 10 people. It makes me sick thatestablishments like this are still up and running and ripping people off like that. When she asked how much it was per person,(how most restaurants do catering) he started stammering and made it seem like he didn?t have a clue without his?paperwork/receipts?. As a owner of any business, especially in the food industry, trust me he knew. He knew that he didn?t haveany answer or receipt because he straight ripped her off. By the time we thought to take pictures (30 minutes later), the foodwas gone. For the record, there weren?t even 35 people and not everyone ate, so it definitely should?ve been leftovers.
