The hostess didn't know what she was doing. There were 2 of us with the same first name and different last names. She only... called the first name and seated the other people first by mistake. Then the waitress finally came to our table and told us itwould be a few minutes because she had to deliver food to a party; which was fine. She delivered what was ready and came to getour drink order. We knew what we wanted to eat and asked if we could order. She said no. We then left the restaurant and wentelsewhere. Went in for dinner, I ordered a steak medium , steak was RARE!.. not even warm, steak was so tough I could not cut it. wife... ordered shrimp dinner , they brought country fried steak instead. Asked to see a manager, but they would not come out of thekitchen. After 15 min the brought the correct meal to my wife, which was cold!? again asked to speak to a manager, again theywould not come out of the kitchen .. the waitress did get 1 meal removed from our bill, I would not go back , poor service, cannot get order correct. Wasn't so much the place but as the service was outstanding! Our waitress name was Chelsea! She was wonderful! Her hospitality... was great! She got everything I had asked for and was very friendly! Breakfast - outstanding! I'm not one for Poor-folks cooking (carb overload) but breakfast is a home run. Eggs, 3 breakfast... meats, biscuits and gravy, fried apples, pancake and coffee for two for about $20. Food enough to two meals, this is a bargainand a tasty one at that. Seated quickly in the fun second-hand store atmosphere while being attended by wonderful wait staff.I'll be coming back. Good Job Cracker Barrel. Read more
I have been going to this restaurant for more than a year. I enjoy the Sampler and always substituted the ham for another piece... of meatloaf since the portions have been cut significantly on the meatloaf dinner by itself. I discussed it with the manager andhis solution was to upcharge me 6 dollars and some change. I don't know what the price of ham compared to a piece of meatloafbut I bet the restaurant is making out. So I will not be visiting this location in the future. Poor business decision. Read more
