Working from out of state. Had lunch and the next day dinner. Friendly staff. Great beer selection. Food was pretty good. ... For lunch I had the Scottish Eggs for an appetizer; they were excellent and I never had this dish before. Then followed by aFried Green Tomato BLT. The need a spicier batter for the tomato and a tad bit more bacon, but it was good and fries werecooked to perfection. Came in for dinner. I saw a beef pasta dish, but guess they no longer serve it so I settled on the fishand chips. I liked the batter on the fish, but the fish was kinda bland even with the tarter sauce and lemon wedge. Steakfries could have been better. Regretting now not going with the Mac and Cheese. But all in all it wasn't a bad experience. Read more

Food was really good, service was great. A little let down at the lunch menu. Dinner menu looks great. I tried the bangers... and mash at Taste of the Arts in Piquas down town and was hoping I could get a lunch portion of it. I am definitely going tocome back! Read more

Interesting atmosphere and eclectic music mixture. Perhaps they were short staffed but our drinks were often empty and the food... wasn't quite what we were hoping it would be. Staff were friendly when they stopped long enough to converse briefly. Would tryagain to see if the fair improved. Portions felt small for the price paid. Read more

Amazing food, atmosphere, and service. Had a killer shrimp appetizer last night - both coconut shrimp and blackened, and they... were huge and really great. I would say the menu is a nice balance of pub food, with some Scottish options like shepherds pieand a Cornish hen, or bangers and mash. The Scotch eggs are awesome. The Scottish themed food is a bit more limited on the lunchmenu. I think the only thing I'd wish for is to have the dinner salads available on the lunch menu, and my preference is to beable to have the salad tossed in the dressing ahead of serving, just adds a nice touch. But this place is awesome, I visitalmost weekly! Read more

They restored the interior and it is GORGEOUS! From the stag head sconce to the antique wine opener, it's beautiful inside! We... all had burgers and they were amazing! Double patties with a warm buttered bun...mine was the shroom burg...perfection! Niiiice, solid, old fashioned as well! Staff was super sweet, ask about the history behind the Scottish background and thereason for the "snugs"! ???? Read more

The beer cheese tasted a bit TOO beer-y for our liking and don't expect a cheap meal. Besides that, the dishes were all amazing.... The salmon and shepherd's pie were both to die for. The staff was friendly and the food was served fairly quickly. We also had alovely window seat. We'll be back to try more! Read more

I had the soup (gumbo) and salad with their Blue Cheese Dressing. My wife had the flounder sandwich. Best gumbo around. Their... Blue Cheese Dressing and their Tarter Sauce were both fantastic. Read more
