The food we ordered was good (once we got the right order). They don't serve any big meals like a larger diner or restaurant.... It's mostly bar food and fries (lots and lots of fries!) They served me a meal that wasn't what was ordered or even close. Theydid eventually make it right but it was a good while after the rest of our group was served and eating. Beautiful historic looking building from the outside. Once inside, you have a choice of sitting at regular tables, pub style... tables or the bar. We sat at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly, the food was served quickly even though the place wasbusy. The food was delicious. Well worth a visit. Read more
Pros: Very interesting building turned into a pub. The waitress ( Ashley) was attentive and friendly. Would recommend her. The... food was ok. Best thing tried was the steak egg rolls. Very clean bathroom and some what kid friendly. Cons: My first order ofa drink ( whiskey sour) was very water down and disappointing. But the old fashion was little better. Price is pretty high formedium quality food. Spent $82 on 3 of us with not getting much. Kids price is $10 , kind of high . My Burger ( New Jersey) wascooked ok and not messy, but lacked anything special, and didn't to me seem to worth $20. I've had better for half the price. Mywife's burger ( thier classic) was same. So a pricey Applebee's pretty much . Too many TVs , kind of takes away from the coolbuilding. The tables are way too close to each other. I had to make sure I was in a certain seat to make sure I wouldn't have tomove for people walking by. All and all, I wouldn't rush back . Shame ,they have so much potential. A good local place to eat and grab a drink. Nice atmosphere. Good vibes. We sat at the bar. Our bartender was both busy and... friendly. We rdered a bowl of Italian Wedding Soup and the Mac and cheese. Both were very good. We both ordered top shelfdrinks. And they were priced as we'd expect. The food was priced higher than expected, but with the overall impact from Covid, Iwasn't surprised. Bottom line is that I'm looking forward to another visit. Read more
Best Cuban Sandwhich ive ever had. It was unconventional in that it was on Texas toast, but what ever mustard mix they... used...excellent. I also got the Mexican Fries and jalapenos in both, top notch food! Price...it was average post pandemic.Beer, very reasonably priced for a domestic bottle. Bathroom (mens) was spotless and very nice. Music was playing at areasonable volume and the outdoor seating made for great people watching. Girlfriend got the pickle fried chicken sandwich andMexican fries, she loved them both. Service was knowledgeable about menu, professional, friendly and punctual. Well be goingback. Read more
