I took my wife here for our anniversary. The food was phenomenal. Jason was our server and he was very patient and accommodating... with our family. I am not really aware of many places in NC where you can find food like this. We both did separate tastingmenus. If you are a foodie or in the market for finding something new to try, or something prepared in a way you've never hadit, I would highly recommend it. It was really impressive food and a great way to celebrate an important milestone. Read more

We decided to celebrate our 20th anniversary here and what a great decision. We drove a hundred miles are so, for we had read... the wonderful reviews. When we arrived early the wonderful hostess sat us in a quite private table. Her service began aincredible meal. We were then seated to our dinning area and met by an dream server Jason. He was the best and will never forgetour experience there. Thanks Jason for your service. Planning to go back again and again. Read more

Want a night to remember? Fearrington House has what you need. This inauspicious setting holds some truly fantastic dishes. We... did the tasting menu with the wine pairing and had a wonderful time. The portions are slightly bigger than I expected for such abig tasting menu, but they were manageable without sacrificing the tastes of each course. The wines were absolutely wonderfuland well selected. Our favorite dishes were the veal and smoked salmon. The sweet potato Panna Cotta was made perfectly and wehad a legitimate ratatouille moment with the smoked salmon. The experience, which took us 3 hours leisurely to get through, iswell worth the price. The quality is the best I've had in the triangle and this is one of the best restaurants in the southeast.Seriously give this place a try if you're serious about food and want a night to remember. I cannot say enough good things about the Fearrington House. It is expensive, however, it is so worth every penny. To start,... once there, the service is impeccable. The staff is extremely respectful, quick, helpful, and will take care of whatever youneed. They made sure to ask if we had any food allergies when I created the reservation, and I had a guest who had a foodallergy. As soon as we got seated the waiters knew there was a food allergy and tailored the menu to our needs and told usalmost every single ingredient in each dish which we were wondering about. This was probably some of the greatest and mostexquisite food I have ever eaten. Highly recommend and will forever wish to come back. Read more

Came to celebrate my Aunt's 70 birthday with afternoon tea. We all really enjoyed it. This was my second time going for tea here... and as a guy who could really careless about fancy teas and scones and mini sandwiches, I enjoyed it. The woman that I brought, and even their husbands, enjoyed the time to just sit back and enjoy the company, service, and all that was served was reallygood. I will be back for dates and celebrations in the future. It is well worth the cost. Read more

Went to Fearrington House for my birthday and chose the three courses option. For my first course, I ordered the Smoked Rutabaga... Soup with Hazelnut & Sherry, the Braised Parsnip with Smoked Gnocchi & Apple for the second course, and Herb Crusted Lamb withRoasted Beet & Pink Peppercorn for the last one. The presentation of the dishes was amazing, however, the taste wasn’t. Thefirst two course were sweet to the point that I though I was having desserts. I kinda liked the last course, but it wasn’toutstanding. I had better herb crusted lamb at other places that were cheaper. This place doesn’t offer the experience thatyou think you’ll get for the price you’ll be paying. Therefore, I wouldn’t recommend it due to the price vs. taste aspect. The only reason that made me give this place two stars instead of one is because the wine was really good. Read more

Without one doubt, the BEST seared, roasted duck and Jerusalem artichokes that I have EVER had in my ENTIRE life, and tied with... the best meals in my life spanning 39 countries! The service was impeccable, and the thoughtfulness of the small trinket giftsmade this a superb dining experience! We sat in front of a roaring fire in December, and it was DIVINE!!!! Read more
