Ate here on October 21, 2022, Friday night, very quiet for a Friday evening. Pretty cool aesthetic, very rustic, and bar feeling... but still inviting. I ate the brisket mac & cheese and my wife had the Texas barbecue burger. Both were excellent and verysatisfying. I drank the double IPA from the brewery and it was excellent. Nice casual atmosphere. Very confused by the large serving of chips for the artichoke dip. It looked like a whole bag of chips.... I wasn't feeling good about the waste as we definitely could not eat all of the chips. Was served a type of roast soup when Iordered a chicken soup and all would've been ok had the beef not been so dry. Bartender/Waitress was new so I understand thatbut I felt uncomfortable having to basically nicely but awkwardly ask her to ask the cooks if this was actually a chicken soup.This was uncomfortable as a customer as I hate complaining unless something is seriously wrong but I couldn't not say something.Waitress came back and explained how as she walked back to the cook area to tell them what happened, they were already talkingamongst themselves about how they didn't think that what they served me was a chicken soup. Waitress took item off of the ticketand I just ate half of my husband's sandwich as I didn't want to wait for another dish to be made. All in all, it wasn't ahorrible experience, just uncomfortable and inconvenient. I'm sure we will stop in again in the future. Read more
Absolutely loved it!!!! In their own world. Hidden behind hustle and bustle of downtown Pittsburg. Atmosphere took us back in... time. Music great. FOOD? OMGosh!!!! Outstanding! We had their Reuben and fries. So delicious ????. Had enough left over to takehome. For one more meal AND snack later. Adorable waitress made me a Lemon Drop ???? drink . Sweet & Sour. Again, yummy yummy????. With our meal we enjoyed their Lemon tea Lemon ????. Like the entire meal. Delicious, yummy ???? and fun. Can't wait togo back!! The food just isn’t good. Been here twice over a year time span. First time I had steak salad. Steak was very dry and salad... not fresh. This past week I went and had a brisket sandwich that was a mess. Soaked in juice which made bun so soggy Icouldn’t hold it. Brisket was so overcooked and dry (maybe that’s why they flooded it with juice). Sweet potato fries werecold. My husband had a burger that was so rare he couldn’t eat it. His fries were cold. I really want to like this placebut don’t think I’ll go back until I read current reviews that show improvement. Read more
What a find!!! Who would have thought there would be really good food inside and old feed store. I’m so glad my friend brought... me here. We started with their pretzels and beer mustard dipping sauce. Loved the warm pretzels. Crispy and salty on theoutside. Soft on the inside. Pretzels are one of my favorite munchies. Of all the pretzels I’ve consumed in my days these areby far the best. Next we tried the fried green tomatoes BLT sandwich. Yummy!! Glad we shared the sandwich because the deliciouslarge pretzels left little room for much more. Add a cold beer and I was a happy camper. I wish I lived closer or gas priceswere cheaper. I’ll definitely try to make it back with some friends. Especially knowing they have music on Friday and Saturdaynights. The owner came out and talked to us for bit. The Anvil brewed beer was top notch. Chocolate stout should be something everyone gets. The food was amazing for location.... Service was quick and efficient. I had the chicken and waffles. Fried zucchini. The restaurant is in an old feed store whichserves up a great decor. They do have outside seating. Read more
We stopped in here for drinks on our way through town. It is a roomy place that is decorated nicely. There was an outside area... as well. They had craft beers and a good selection of liquors. There was supposed to be live music that night but there wasnot any live music. There was one pool table. Read more
