Best sushi I've had in the Pittsburgh area. Being inside Wholey's, the seafood used is always fresh. Besides the standards,... Andy will make just about any combination you want. Rolls are quite generous in size. Worth stopping by during a visit to theStrip. Read more

Visited Andy's Sushi Bar for the first time and this was such a cool little spot. His store is one stall inside Wholey Market... and it's a one man operation. Everything was made fresh to order and it was delicious. We had the 19 piece with a Maki Roll for$39.95 and it was big enough to feed three people. Out of the sushi we tried my favorite was the salmon but you cannot go wrongwith any of the choices to be honest. I would say Andy's is definitely a hidden gem in this area and you should give it a try. Read more

I LOVE ANDY! When we lived in Pittsburgh it was the best and only place to get amazing sushi. I had heard he was retiring, but... sooo happy he didn't. We happened upon him while visiting and had to get Sushi. I wasn't hungry, but I also wasn't about to passup Andy's Sushi. If you've never had his Sushi, you haven't lived. Go and get the best Sushi in Pittsburgh, only found atAndy's. Read more

I don?t write many reviews, this is probably my second or third? If you want to eat sushi?if you are visiting Pittsburgh or if... you?re a local that?s a late adopter?eating sushi at the fish market just makes common sense. start here?advice: let him* decidewhat you eat (he has printed menu and boards?if you?re having trouble, tell him to make you something good for whatever you andyour friends want to spend?he?s extremely accommodating, and that?s where the real journey begins. Trust me, he has made sushifor me and my then small son for over 20 years. THE ABSOLUTE BEST! * genuinely a decent person too, after almost 25 years youget to know a person?.he thinks he?s a comic when he?s actually a showman! ???????? Read more

There are no better sushi and sashimi in Pittsburgh then Andy's. I have been his client for 8 years, trying different places,... but nothing compares. Always coming back to Andy. Read more

Ordered takeout for a late lunch, place is CASH only so either bring cash or use the ATM outside. Food was super fresh and... amazing, especially for the price. I ordered 2 rolls and 1 order of nigiri for $20. Presentation was nice too. I definitelyrecommend getting the Salmon Skin roll, it was the perfect mix of savory and crunchy. Read more

I came here for lunch, and I am so happy I did. I wasn't sure what to expect. I figured out it was a stand inside of a fish... market slightly before I got there, and you can watch (I assume) Andy make your order right in front of you. Not only that, buthe's a really spunky guy. He also makes great sushi. Everything I got was super fresh and tasty. I got a veggie sushi and veggiemaki, and I have a some left for tomorrow:). Read more
