The pepperoni here is legit. Its quite disappointing though when it arrives on your pizza with out request in place of others.... They also seem intent on using nicknames with out any actual familiarity with the guest, perhaps they think I?m someone else, Idon?t really care if my order comes correct but when they won?t pick up the phone to make corrections then they definitely haveearned 2 stars. I ordered a pizza to be delivered 1 mile from the restaurant. After waiting an additional 30 minutes from the time it was... supposed to be there. I tried contacting them and they didnt answer the phone. Finally I contacted grub hub who tried to calland still nobody answered the phone. I got an email 40 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered saying the restaurantcanceled my order because they were too busy. So now the hospital cafeteria is closed and my family members are trying to findsomewhere else to order from. If you are too busy then don?t take the order ! I won?t ever be ordering from Angelo?s onLiberty ave again. Read more

I have lived in Bloomfield for 5 years now, and I always get a hoagie and a slice. Hoagies were always legit, but the last 2... times i've had them the bread is so dry and just crumbles all over you. It looks like different bread, so I don't don't know ifthey changed their bread recipe or buy it from somewhere else. Just somewhat disappointing. Read more

Place has great food, I love the hoagies. One of my go-go?s for takeout. A nice bonus is that this place has good staff, and a... very reasonable/friendly owner (or maybe manager?) ? I noticed this not only with myself, but with customers he talked with overthe phone. Read more

I hate this place. I really do. Because I feel I'm missing out. I'm sure they usually make great food. They're always... busy. I've been there four times. Two times the food was a huge disappointment. The other two times were atrocious service. You're experience may differ. But, four strikes is definitely an out. Can we do half stars for a functional door? Read more

Pizza was okay. Not really memorable. Ya know how good or great pizza sticks in your mind. This didn't. Nice helping of cheese... tho. Also got the an Italian sausage hoagie. 2 stars for that. Was burned and very little on it. Would not recommend. Looked nice. But the taste was not there for me. Read more

First time trying this place and it was pretty good. Pros: Staff was very friendly and accommodating, accidentally gave us the... wrong pizza but called as soon as we left to let us know so we turned around and they let us keep both. Definitely the bestpizza customer service experience in Pittsburgh. The pizza sauce, cheese, and toppings all had great flavor. We ordered a meatpizza and it was not too greasy like most. They only charged for half the price of toppings since we only wanted toppings onhalf the pizza. This seems like a given but most places charge full price for half toppings and I always feel a bit rippedoff. Cons: The crust was a bit too thick for my taste and soggy, even though we asked for a well-done bake. The wait was kindof long from phone call to pick up (~35 min) Overall it?s some of the best Pizza we?ve tried in the city and would definitelygo back! Read more
