My wife and I went there for lunch, but we ordered take out. She told that their entire menu is vegan with a lot of gluten free... options too. Although we?re not vegan, we?re often visiting places and restaurants offering this kind of menu. B52 didn?tdisappoint us. The portion was huge, especially for the falafel wrap. Quite possibly my new favorite restaurant! Gotta go on a Wednesday for burger night! Edit: i still love This place, though I... hate the new hours. I understand the reasoning, but the frequency I can go has dropped severely. The last time I went, itdoesn?t seem the hours have affected their business. It was packed there. So this place has been on my list of vegan food places to try in Pittsburgh, as im transitioning from vegetarian to vegan. Im... absolutely upset with myself that I did not come sooner!! I stopped in with a friend who used to be vegan and she knew the menuwell and also order a few extra things since it was my first time. I had one of the tofu scramble meal, home fries, hummus, andblueberry pancakes! They we delicious! Strangely I was blown away by the pancakes! I like pancakes but not enough to rave aboutthem! These pancakes were flavorful and moist! Ive stopped in a few times and they had a line, more so because they are asmaller restaurant & great food so I would go about a half our or hour before you've made plans just incase you have to wait30mins+ to be seated. Another Vegan and healthy find for Breakfast! Their coffees are usually prepared with oat/almond/coconut milk. Various options... for tea to choose from. As a vegan I?m always looking for new places to try and B52 made the cut after seeing their advertisement for Burger Night which... would suggest there is some sort of special right ?! Try $18.97 later for a burger and some fries . No drink included . Myfeatured burger looked nothing like the mouth watering one that was advertise on their facebook. but it did the job and I cantaste the fresh ingredients which is always a plus . Everything from this place is DELICIOUS. My personal favorite dish is the tofu scramble... It has amazing latkes, a tasty... scramble, and healthy greens. Their chocolate cake is heavenly and, for those craving a small bit of chocolate, they haveincredible housemade chocolates with caramel fillings, crunchy toppings, and other amazing combinations. They have a pretty good variety of items and so far I?ve enjoyed their falafel wrap, lentil soup and kofta burger with the... cheese! I would say I loved the Falafel Wrap most out of all those things and the lentil soup is really healing and has a funzest of lemon! Love this place because the food feels good / nutritious since it?s vegan and has a lot of good ingredients butI do think that they can add more salt to their food.
