We were delighted to find this place for Taiwanese desserts! (The food seemed kind of pricey, but the drinks and desserts were... reasonable. Except maybe $9 for 3 egg tarts.) They stopped seating in the dining room half an hour before closing, so we had toget it to go. The Taro Taro Sago came in a cute plastic cup and was packed with everything it promised: chewy taro balls, grassjelly, red bean, boba, and sago (small tapioca) in a coconut milk base. Holy cow. Go. Go now. The soup dumplings are akin to what I got in Shanghai. Fried dumplings were authentic and delicious. ... Got the hibachi fried rice and was so good. Very peppery, so note that. But was amazing. They have 3 kinds of fried rice soask the differences! Dessert was solid, but sold out of the amazing stuff. Not surprising!
