I?ve gone there many times I enjoyed it! This past Saturday there was five of us we had reservations for 4:15. A group of 17... came in with their bottles of wine they we so loud that we could not even talk to each other. Why would you put a party at 17in the main dining room? My meal was $30 and I couldn?t even enjoy it. Our waitress was so taken back that she just apologizedand that she could do nothing about it. And I understood! Talk to the manager and she was very short with us and never said thatI?m sorry about it there?s nothing she could do?.. really wanted to walk out but I didn?t wanna embarrass our waitress or leaveher short. it will be a long time for me to come back. I?m 81 years old and never encountered this all my life. When you have aparty of 17 you have a separate room you don?t seat them out in the dining room were people want to have a nice dinner. A Google search while at South Hills Village turned this place up. Very happy we stopped. There was plenty of parking and the... restaurant was very clean. The waiter provided perfect service and everything that was ordered tasted amazing. I recommend thescallops. Very pleased with this establishment. My Aunt?s fiancé passed and we flew into the city to put him to rest. Her friend Monk suggested to dine at DeLallo?s to honor... her fiancé. We were greeted and seated right away, the food was excellent and the servers were great and prompt. Very clean,beautifully decorated for the season and professional staff. I had the lasagna paired well with a bottle of Ramsey and finishedwith a delicious death by chocolate slice of cake. I will recommend this restaurant to anyone in the visiting or traveling. The best way I can think of describing this place is as a good, traditional, Italian-American restaurant. They offer all the... classic dishes in a homey atmosphere and all are executed well. We went there with a group of friends and were treated very wellby the very attentive staff. Carol was a delight ? personable, funny, extremely knowledgeable, and efficient ? everything youwant from a good server. The support staff of bus boys was a bit overeager (they whisked glasses and plates away ? sometimesbefore we were quite finished!) but were quick to replace them or leave them when we commented on it. And the manager alsostopped by to check if everything was to our liking. As to the food: Wedding soup, house salad, Chicken Parmesan ? those areall Italian classics. The chicken Maremana and the Seafood platter were slightly different than the norm, but not so far out ofline. The special of the Rockfish was well executed as well, although the garlicky risotto stole the show there! All the disheswere done well. I am not disappointed, but none of us were wowed by how exceptional they were either. Every dish was done verywell, but did not go beyond that. This is a place that I will definitely want to go when I want to get this kind of food andknow that it will be done well every time and will never change. If I want more adventurous food, or variations, I will need tofind other places. These are not negative statements. Food was very good. The music was a delight. Our waitress was very pleasant and knowledgeable about the menu. The place is a... little outdated but that is not an issue. It is important to know that there is a sign on the door asking men not to wearsleeveless shirts and so on in the restaurant. Read more
