My fried chicken sandwich tasted dry and weird. Despite being dry it tasted like it had been marinated in Italian dressing,... like a chic-fil-a grilled sandwich. Upon lifting up some of the breading I found a full grilled chicken breast underneath withgrill marks and everything lol. I can’t figure out if they are just trying to save money by breading up day old grilledchicken breasts that didn’t sell or if the chef is really this much of a simple Jack and he can’t come up with a better wayto fry up chicken. It really makes you wonder what other goofy stuff they are doing back there. Read more

Stopped in after a long day of exploring on a Sunday evening. We were greeted and seated immediately although it was a busy... night! The server, Julia, stopped by after she saw us waiting (it really had only been maybe 5 mins) and was apologetic for ourwait. We weren’t bothered because we were looking over the menu. The Purple Flower cocktail was out of this world good!!! Myhusband and I shared the Pierogis appetizer- they were delish!! and the bbq sandwich. It was a hearty portion and we both leftwith happy, full tummies. This was probably the most reasonably priced meal we’ve enjoyed since we’ve been in the area. Thereason I didn’t give 5 stars was because homemade chips didn’t taste fresh, it was very dark in the restaurant andbathrooms…which is cool for a mood but maybe a light each table would help. The bathroom just needed more lights all the wayaround. The music was so very loud! We love music and don’t mind it being turned up but it was beyond the level of bar music. It was full on dance club level loud. We sat on the right side of the bar with a wall between and closer to the door. Icouldn’t imagine sitting in the bar area. There would have been no way to carry on a conversation. Read more

Lively sports bar. Young locals hang. Mostly in their 20's. Loud rock music. Friendly bartenders. Kale salad was pretty good.

The dry rub hot wings had me at hello. Crispy, tasty, juicy. Need I say more? Oh yeah, they're pricey. Then again, the price of... wings has gone up everywhere, hasn't it? The hangover burger is on point. I get why it has that name, its like an epic breakfastin a burger with a little bit of a maple syrup taste. This sports bar is what Hough's in Greenfield used to be, and maybebetter. The Achilles' Heel of this meal; the chips that came with the burger were stale stale stale. Must have been some oldoil. Bleh! Read more

Rating: 4.7 Stars I have been to Bigham Tavern several times, but this is the first time since I started reviewing... food. Bigham Tavern is a lot of fun. They have numerous TVs, a clean environment, and plenty of space. To start, I ordered theRhinegeist Snowcat draft. It was an above average wheat beer. A friend ordered a side of Hot Cheese Bites tossed in Gnarly Saucefor the table, and another friend ordered the Mount Nachos with Chicken. Both of these were excellent. The Gnarley Sauce has afantastic amount of flavor, and it really made the Hot Cheese Bites taste great. The chicken on the Mount Nachos went well withthe melted beer cheese. For me entrée, I decided to go with the Smokehouse Mac. Living in St. Louis, I love the combination ofBBQ and Mac and Cheese, and I was not disappointed. The Smokehouse Mac had a lot of flavor, and I really enjoyed it. TheCavatappi pasta was perfectly cooked, and I loved how perfectly the flavorful smoked gouda, pulled pork, and Memphis sweetdrizzle complemented each other. The portion size was generous, and the soft, warm pretzel stick was a nice addition. Iconcluded my meal with the $2.75 I.C. Lights since the Penguins were playing. While I.C. Light is terrible--especially for anative Pittsburgher now living in St. Louis and getting the freshest of Anheuser-Busch beers--it is a good deal. This was agreat trip, and I look forward to hanging out here in the future when I am back in town. Read more
