We decided to go to Bob Evans for Thanksgiving dinner. The food was considerably better than I remembered. Although they were... insanely busy, our server was attentive, while being pulled a million different directions. Some of the food was a little onthe cold side by the time it got to our table, but considering how busy it was, and how short-staffed they were, I think thatwas a minor detail. I ordered a meal for my family through UberEats. My kid ate the mac and cheese and spit it out. I smelled it and it smelled... rancid. The mac and cheese was completely spoiled! I saved the food and receipt in case I need to take them to the hospitalbecause they were sick all night. They could seriously hurt someone by not ensuring that their food is safe to eat! I even triedcalling to let them know they were serving spoiled food and they kept hanging up on me. I called at 2:15pm, 2:16pm and 2:17pm.Do not bring your family or friends here if you love them. I been going to Bob Evans for years. With the shortage of employees standard are lacking. Everyone who worked there was working... very hard and doing there best. There were 2 servers for the whole dinning room. The Manager was helping out the servers. Someof my food was missing some was cold and it was hard to get a drink refill. Always a good option for one of the standard, "chain" restaurants. Good menu choices and good quality of food. This location... (as all I've seen) was clean and well kept. The service was pleasant. Unfortunately the coffee was not hot, but it was around7 pm on a Sunday. Read more
Saturday night dinner with friends became a bit of an odyssey. Quick service but sloppy. The expectations of the food weren't... high and it proved us right. 10 people in the ENTIRE restaurant, sat near 3 tables with dishes on them. The server never greeted the table, took our drink... order passing by the table, she didn't deliver our food nor check on us. She was quick to leave the bill. I have been in andout of this industry over 20 yrs, that could have been the worst service ever. She also had nails the length of KhloeKardashian. Repulsive and UNprofessional. Will never go back. For several years, I have been visiting this location of Bob Evans. During my most recent in-person dining experience, a seating... hostess promptly greeted me and walked me to a clean table. Soon after, my waiter arrived. He did not introduce himself by name,but he was very nice throughout the service, and he took my order and brought out my food with short wait times. My strawberrypancakes did not have freshly cut strawberries like in the photo in the menu, but the pancakes and toppings tasted very good. Myslices of bacon were perfectly crispy. A few of my potatoes were slightly burned, but most of them were cooked well. Mysunny-side-up eggs were cooked nicely. My husband said that he enjoyed his meal as well. The total cost was reasonable.
