Enjoyed the service, and I actually quite liked some breakfast options. Especially the oatmeal with roasted pecan pieces, and... bagel with cream cheese. Read more

I'm not sure how the food is. My wife and I wanted to have a couple drinks after going out to dinner with our daughter after... helping her get settled after moving in for the semester. We stayed at the hotel. It wasn't super busy. It took me about 15 to20 minutes to get a double of Jameson and a glass of pinot. My glasses dirty. Took about another 20 minutes to get my change (Istill left a 50 percent tip). We thought about getting another round but there were people waiting. The bartender wasn't thatgood, and seemed disinterested or maybe disconnected and uncaring of any sort of positive customer service. The only way todescribe her was that she ate a handful of valium and just didn't know what to do or what was going on. Read more

We stayed at the hotel and found the restaurant to be clean and the food was good. It's by no means a 5 star restaurant. With... that being said our food was good and the beer was very cold. Overall I would recall it to anyone. Read more

Went here for a prearranged meeting where they told the organizer they'd be happy to have us but when we arrived it was closed.... I've been told it keeps odd hours, closing on a whim. So while the food might be good (who knows) the place is highlyunreliable. Read more

This is a gem of a restaurant tucked inside the Wyndham Hotel University Center in Oakland. The diversed menu pleased everyone:... the vegan, the vegetarian, the pescaterian, and the burger lover! The service was attentive, kind, and helpful, and the pricingwas reasonable. We dined there at 8 pm on Monday evening and we were grateful to find such a cozy place for dinner on a winterevening; we didn't even have to walk outside! Read more

The food is extremely expensive for what it is and the wait staff/managers are rude. There are much better places to eat at... within walking distance, spend your money elsewhere. Read more

My daughter and I ordered dinner salads. The lettuce was so old it was liquefied into a solid mass at the bottom of the plate,... (but artfully covered by a few fresher leaves). It was inedible. When I brought this to the attention of the waitress, she saidit was "just wet," but would discount our meals. She gave us 15% off one salad. So: bad food, bad service and, since it's ahotel restaurant, no ambiance. Eat elsewhere. Read more
