The place was a little different from your traditional Italian restaurant I suppose. 3 of us were staying for one night at a... nearby hotel and we picked that restaurant out of consensus that Italian sounded good. We entered the restaurant and therestaurant room we got into was totally empty (there was apparently another room with guests through a door). It took a coupleof minutes for a staff member to show up and welcome us to a table. The interior decoration is "heavy" to say the least, therein no shortage of picture frames or various objects to lay your eyes onto. The food was served in large dishes to share amongstus. Portions were large and there was some food leftover. Food was good overall, but certainly not spectacular. Service wasequally good, but not over the top either. I use the washroom and boy they need some attention. What I thought was funny was the(creative) use of a urinal scented pad on the ceiling fan to.... disinfect the air I guess?.... I very rarely leave reviews but this was probably one of the worst dining experiences of my life! Save your hard earned money... and spend it elsewhere! $120 down the drain for two people. Our waitress was very nice and quick to take our drink order. About5 minutes after she brought some water and took our food order. That’s where it all began. Took over 20 minutes for one beerand one glass of sangria! One salad and garlic bread took 35 minutes! The rest of our order came three minutes after that. Ittook forever and then we were completely overwhelmed. I understand the kitchen was backed up and not much help but that wascompletely ridiculous! The food was not worth it at all. The sauce tasted like it came from a can and no flavor. I asked for aside of Alfredo sauce and it was COLD. Not even made fresh!! We will never come here again!!! Read more

First off our waitress Juanita was absolutely wonderful. We had a party of 9 and she gave us some of the best service we have... had for a large group. Second, we got the family style portions and the food was incredible. We will definitely be back andhighly recommend you try them out!! Read more

Juanita was our server, very knowledgeable and offered us a tour of the place. We just loved her! We had the stuffed shells,... they were excellent and the garlic bread was plentiful! We asked her for recommendations for wine. She recommended the ApothicRed, excellent choice and for dessert she recommended the Raspberry cake another excellent choice. Went on a Saturday around 4pm before the evening rush. Was delighted to have a room for ourselves. If you have never been here,... the meals are all family style, so no individual plates and they are big portions being served. The ceilings are low which givesthe place an intimate feel. Horrible food missing ingredients and flavor. Ordered $100.00 worth of take out only to toss it all half eaten. We had the spicy... chicken sausage rigatoni casserole. The food had zero flavor, was missing the peas, and was so over saturated with red pepperflakes that all you could taste was heat. Honestly I'd be shocked to find out they salt their pasta water. That's how tastelessit was. The pasta was perfectly cooked but might as well have been made of Styrofoam. We got a "trio" sampler. I use quote marksbecause we only received a duo sampler. $36.00 for an app and they neglected to include a third of what I paid for. What killsme is whomever packed the food had the brass to write TRIO on the lid. I don't speak Italian, nor have I ever worked in anItalian restaurant but i can tell you trio means THREE. If you only put two items in a container meant for three maybe you catchthat whilst writing three on the lid. Worse was the food they actually bothered to pack. The spicy shrimp were delicious.....for 15 seconds. After that you're looking for a glass of milk. What ever greasy hot sauce they used for the shrimp migrated tothe calamari and ruined it. Went there on 6/17 for dinner with my mom. Wasn’t very crowded on a Friday which in hindsight may have been concerning. My mom... and I had never been there before and we weren’t expecting the family style dining which isn’t the establishments fault.However the waitress instantly became rude with us when we ordered one small pasta dish to share because the small feeds 3. Shenever came to check on us or refill our drinks in fact she saw my mom pouring her drink into mine and didn’t offer to refillthe entire time. We ordered the spicy shrimp pasta which was caked in red pepper flakes. And a tiarimisu which was stale. Wealso were both sick today from eating it so it clearly was not cooked safely.
