The burgers were ok and the service was lacking. It?s a popular game day spot in the perfect location for football and baseball... fans. Our server spent most of her time leaning on the bar or the counter at the host stand and scrolling through her phone. Weordered and didn?t see her again until it was time for the ticket. We needed water refills and napkins, luckily the tattooedwaitress was around to ALL of her tables and helped us as she passed. Read more
I gave this restaurant an okay because unless you want a burger there's just not much else to choose from. The restaurant was... clean as well as the bathrooms. It had a large bar and your choice of outside or inside seating. Our waitress was nice and onpoint. I'm in general not a fan if burgers but my husband wanted to go here. I ordered a salad with very specific items off theydid get my order correct and the salad was good. Read more
The service was decent because the server had a great attitude, but didn?t come over often to refill waters and grab dishes. The... milkshake was quality, but there were a bit too many espresso chunks. The nachos were definitely the best tasting dish! Theburger was over cooked and didn?t come with enough sauce. Very unique burger place. Great "build your own" theme with more choices than you could imagine! My elk burger was cooked... perfectly, and seasoned /sauced / topped exactly as I requested! These milkshakes are TRULY heavenly!! This is the only milkshake I?ve ever had where it isn?t insanely difficult/way too thick... to drink right away with the straw. The Nutella shake was very good, the chocolate wasn?t too overwhelming if you likechocolate. The salted pretzel shake was very good according to a third party I had my meal with :) the atmosphere of this placeis great as well! Lots of little touches that make it unique such as the look of the menu, the takeout boxes, the presentationof the shakes, and the cute little pitch forks in the burgers. You can also make your own burger. They have countless differentoptions of meat (chicken, beef, elk, vegan [impossible and veggie]), rubs, buns (lettuce wrap option for gluten free!), cheese(vegan option too), sauces, and toppings! The waitress was also very nice and extremely helpful with deciding which shake tochoose. Overall I had a great time eating outside on the patio and the food was very good! My only complaint is that the meatpatty (beef) on my burger was thicker than my preference but I know this is something a lot of people like! Read more
Cookie monster shake was really good. I created my own burger with angel dust and truffle aioli... had to send my burger back... to be cooked up because it came out more medium rare than medium well. But it was definitely a good burger. I didn't want tostop eating it after I got full. Read more
Just arrived in Pittsburgh for vacation and was browsing around for some decent dinner, what I found was Burgatory. I literally... jogged half a mile to make it in time to order before closing, thankfully the crew working this Friday night was more than happyto seat me at the last minute. I fully understand that it's rude to come before closing, but I was more than grateful for theopportunity to dine here tonight. The menu had so many options I was having trouble deciding, then I was introduced to thecustom menu with pencils, decisions were made and drinks were ordered. Best burger I've ever had, hands down. I would takeanother 10 hour train ride just for this burger. Was thinking of looking for other restaurants for my future meals while on myway to the city, but after eating here, I'm already planning lunch with a spiked shake. I've fallen into Burgatory, and I don'twanna leave. Edit: After such a wonderful dinner, I ended up coming back for lunch. Had a glorious milkshake that wasstrawberry with just the right amount of caramel in it. The take out box was entertaining with all the writing, and study enoughto use by the water way. Read more
