I just received my order from the Liberty Ave location after placing a delivery order and tipping online through their website;... sad to say after all my ranting and raving to my co-workers how great the "backyard grandma" pie was we received an incompletepizza as you can see in the photo. I had this pie from the Aspinwall location and it was fantastic, however not so great whenit's missing one of the main distinguishing ingredients.After reading some reviews from the Liberty Ave location I was skepticalbut decided to give it a shot but apparently not all Caliente's are made the same. We have ordered from Caliente previously and had a good experience, so we ordered some wings today and were absolutely... flabbergasted by what they gave us. We ordered three sets of five wings, one bone-in and two boneless. The bone-in wings werefine, but the boneless, supposedly a serving of five, were an utter disappointment. Per the pictures, both sets of bonelesswings contained four decently sized wings and one piece of breading. They also lacked appropriate sauce/dressing, but that was asecondary complaint to the lack of a fifth, complete wing in each order. I have no problem with paying good money for wings. Ido have a problem with paying good money for subpar wings. We?ll go with another restaurant for wings in the future. Read more
I had a drink at the bar and decided to order a pizza . The pizza was perfect ! cheesy and the crust was crispy ! I had great... service as well. I was a bit indecisive with which apple cider I wanted and the bartender gave me a sample of each. I ended upgetting the Archibald's Ado . Read more
First and last time ordering. I?ve never had a chicken salad with canned chicken that tastes like turkey. This is how the salad... came. I ate two fries, so it was two more than what you see. Otherwise, that was the canned chicken salad they passed off as?grilled chicken? salad for $16 after taxes. Never mind the lack of provolone cheese that supposed to come on it that is clearlyalmost non existent. They should?ve been ashamed to send that out the door. I called the establishment and voiced our concernsbecause it was multiple orders and the guy that said he made responded ?I?m sorry you feel that way?. Terrible place. Didn?t mind spending over $30 for a speciality pizza as we have heard rave reviews. Opened the box and this is what we bought.... Called the manger he said this type of pizza, I think grandma something, is supposed to be dark and basically hung up. Read more
Me and my girlfriend went to the Bloomfield location for dinner today, they forgot her pizza entirely when we went to pick up... the order. We had to wait 20 minutes while they made it from scratch and the rest of the food got cold while we waited. When Iopened my pizza at home the toppings were completely burnt, and when we opened our wings they weren't even bacon maple wingslike we ordered, but lemon pepper. What's worse is the lemon pepper tasted bad as there was no real lemon on it, so we justdidn't eat the wings. We then called them to tell them that we didn't get the correct wings and the guy on the phone said"that's not their problem it's Uber Eats problem, contact them." And "that's why he would never use Uber Eats." Like that hasanything to do with getting the order correct. Ordered from this place based on a recommendation and was a big disappointment. It took an hour for our initial order to show... up. We ordered an XL pizza and at least three pieces of pizza were taken from the box before we even received it. See thepicture. I called the place back and they said they were going to send me another pizza. We waited two hours and nothing. Itried calling back and was immediately hung up on. I don?t recommend or trust this place at all. UPDATE: I called them backtwo days later and explained what happened to a manager who was able to refund us for the pizza. Read more
Outstanding! Caliente pizza has all the flavor of the old school pies from back in the day. The dough , cheese, pepperoni and... sauce they use is top notch! One pizza starts at $28 plus the cost for extra toppings, however its worth the price. Read more
