I?ve personally had good experiences at this particular Caliente location over the years so what happened this evening has... disappointed me. I can understand an order taking longer than 45 minutes to get delivered on a Saturday night, even though thatwas the time I was quoted via online order. I?m willing to wait happily for good food. What is unacceptable is when that food isone hour and forty minutes late and cold like it has been sitting there for almost the same length of time. I ordered one XLpizza, and rolls. The rolls were very burnt, and the pizza was ice cold. I don?t know who in their right mind would send thisout the door. This meal cost me $65 after tipping the driver. (Which I happily did as this is not the fault of the driver). It?sexpensive enough cooking in these days so if I?m going to drop that much money on a meal, I?d like it to be hot and fresh. I canhappily wait, but I do expect it to be fresh. So I will no longer spend my money here. This was a difficult experience. Service? Awful. Really awful. Trenton at the bar could not have cared less. The indifference... was everywhere. Was the pizza good? Yes..? Was it $25 for a 12? good? Combined with the service - absolutely not. Get this:the bill was wrong but we decided the $4 was not worth the pain to try to engage Trenton again to resolve. We were there on10/7. We will not be there again. With so many superior options available, we left grateful to never have to return to CalientePizza again. Alright. I ordered the quack attack online and they called to say they didn?t have it. I ordered different food which was good... but not great. So without trying their signature dish (pizza) this place is pretty good but not something I would go out of myway to visit. I have two coupons so I will come back and eventually try the Pizza. The grandma honey pizza was excellent! The jalapeno pops were warm & soft. The service was attentive. Just loved everything... about my experience here. There's not many "true" pizza joints from where I live so this was a real treat for me. Can't wait tovisit again!! A++++ Read more

Everything I've tried here is very good including pizza and wings. They consistently offer a decent selection of beers and... ciders on tap and in cans and bottles. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but is tasty and well executed. The main issue I haveis the price as it is one of the most expensive places you will ever visit compared to similar establishments. This is for bothfood and drinks. I subtracted 1 star as a result. If the prices were reigned in, I would definitely be a more frequent patron. Read more

We ordered an extra large thick crust pizza, 5 boneless wings & fries?. We waited an hour and 30 minutes for delivery although... we?re only 2.1 miles away & when the food got to us- this is what our pizza looked like. Our wings & fries were so soggy and icecold that it was too repulsive to eat? When we ran out to stop the driver to express our concerns, he took off. We called thestore and we were told they would send out a new pizza ASAP, yet here we are still waiting for our new pie; another hour aftercalling. This review is mixed. We have friends that like caliente?s but complain about the inconsistent pizza and service. We decided... to give it a shot and found our experience to be the same. They advertise a lot and have won the best pizza competition and themenu is ridiculous with options. I was excited. We ordered two pizzas and round cheese, Detroit style, and hush puppies. Ipicked up because they don?t deliver to where I live. The Detroit style is the bomb. I give this a 5 ??. The crust was goodand crunch, the sauce had a nice sweetness to it, I?m still telling people about this pizza days later. Our round was also verygood. I honestly can?t complain about the taste but as you can see from the pictures it?s missing some cheese. And it appearsto have been baked that way. I?m not an expert on making pizza, just an expert eater. This was frustrating because I didn?tpick up on that until I got home. I included a picture. The hush puppies were a nice touch too.
