Very overhyped. The wait staff were great and the presentation was nice but i cant seem to find justification for the price. The... mark-ups are incredibly high. For that I expect the bar staff to know what they are doing and not serve a $17 drink that onlytaste like bitters. Dive bars do better. I enjoyed my Delmonico coffee steak very much but I still can’t justify the $56price tag when the other dishes are unremarkable. The shrimp cocktail, crab bisque, béarnaise sauce and crème brûlée wereall very average and really did not taste premium. I suggest Willow in Avonworth or Breakneck in Mars, who serve similarpremium fare for somewhat less mark-up and have more variety. I was surprised because I showed up intending to pay a lot for animpressive meal, yet they have a small $10 salad called the Mark Salad. It was delicious with vinaigrette, pecans, goat cheeseand craisins. I didn’t expect the lowest price tag on my check to outrun all the others. It was excellent. I have no issuespending $200+ per person on dinner but I expect more consistency. Read more
My wife and I love dining here. The place is beautiful, atmosphere is perfect, even elegant. The staff make you feel like a VIP... the whole time. Food is delicious and precisely prepared. Our first time here and definitely not our last! The food was beyond amazing and my boyfriend and I both left full with... leftovers! We were given a slice of chocolate cake to celebrate our anniversary which was the perfect ending to our meal.Shannon gave us a wonderful experience and was so personable! Great experience. Our first time. Started with a beer and raspberry smashed martini. Both served perfectly chilled. Next we... had blue point oysters on the half shell. Served without crackers - first time without crackers for me. They were excellentanyway. Next we had the small Caesar salads one with extra anchovies. Served with a chilled fork, warm rolls and butter. Finally we had the 8 oz fillet and the coffee rubbed Delmonico. Both were cooked at the requested temperature. I told them tohold the green beans and roasted potatoes. I added an order of fries at full price since substitutions are not allowed - whichhave no issue with. My guest said both were excellent. She also ordered a side of scallops to go with the fillet. They arrivedlate due a waiter error but they made up for it with a slice of chocolate cake. Tiffini, our waitress was top-notch and the food was AMAZING. Highly recommend the delicious sherry crab bisque. Steaks were... melt-in-your-mouth! We made a reservation after the steelers home opener and arrived late. They still let us in 30 mins before closing and sat us... down and we enjoyed every second of our date at Ditka's. Definitely will return. The food was phenomenal and so was the service. Read more
