On the one hand, this place is aptly named. It is part sports bar, part dive bar. Hard walls and floors, TVs and semi-obnoxious... music played a bit too loud. ON THE OTHER HAND... the menu is expansive! I was not prepared for the variety and interestingselections, and had trouble making a choice, so much looked good. A real dive bar has mayo and ham, but they have aioli andprosciutto. And it is GOOD food, and good drinks, too. The wait staff is attentive and not intrusive. The batter-fried foodfeatures a light batter and great fry temperature so it is crispy and not at all oily. The sandwiches were great, goodingredients, the bread was perfect. I want to try more... Service was very friendly even though it was late. Asked me how my drinks were and we shared opinions of favorites. Amazing... food, ordered 2 short rib dishes. Beef is fantastic, croquettes seasoned perfect, pulled pork is killer! Drinks and nice andstrong, a little tiny bit slow on the draw to get you signature cocktails but only because they are so well made and some arevery intricate! Also, huge selection of food and drinks. At least 100 things available. Something for everyone. Try theChocolate Pretzel Cocktail! Definitely great. Also very good, nice area to be at at night.
