My wife an I ordered a salad and a small pizza. When asked if the salad dressing was homemade the cashier didn?t seem to... understand what homemade meant. He showed us a foil package of dressing. I asked if they had vinegar and oil, he said no. Thesalad came and I said we would need forks. A little while later he handed me a 1flatware fork, no knife, and he said I need thefork back. I asked for a second fork. The pizza came a little later and a different server laid the paper towels on the tableand placed the pizza on top, no plates! The pizza was bland tasting of low-end cheese. The salad looked like produce from 3days ago with whole lettuce leaves, remember no knives. VERY BAD PIZZA and poor service. Packaged salad dressing! Honestly I haven't been here yet but I will! I go straight to the comments and your rebuttal is on point, impressive! I love a... thin crispy cheese. Who should I ask for when I'm in? I don't want to say " Can I speak to the manager!" Bahaha Read more

Local old school South Hills pizza shop. Was owned by Don Campiti. New owner now but quality stayed consistent. Also, he seems... cool and good hardworking dude. Relatively thin crust pie with good flavor. One of the popular for local South Hills residentspizza choices. It may not blow your doors off but is consistently good. I would put it in the top 5 pizza choices in Pittsburghsouth. There are some great choices in this area of town so keep that in mind. Read more

The service is more than incredible. The hoagies are perfectly crunchy and soft. The pizzas are TO DIE FOR!!! The only reason... this is a 1 star review is because I recently discovered that the owner claims every credit card tip, and the staff doesn?t seeany of that income. They only take home cash tips, split pool style. As someone who makes a living off of service industry tips,I?m no longer comfortable supporting the management of this establishment. Read more

An iconic Dormont institution for over 60 years- My Dad grew up eating this unique pizza, I've eaten it my whole life and I got... my Northside neighbours hooked on this stuff. You will be sorry if you never try this deliciously differently pizza. The crustis light, thin and crispy- almost a flatbread around the edge- definitely not for those that like a doughy, thick crust. Nothingbeats the pepperoni sausage pizza. You'll not find sausage like this on any other pizza. It's not the grey, processed lumps youusually find on pizza. It's a delicious, spicy loose ground italian sausage. Their pepperoni is not the usual, either. Betterquality ingredients than anywhere Ive ever been, and their sandwiches don't disappoint, either. This is the best Italian hoagiein the city, hands down. The bread is crusty fresh Mancinis, another Pittsburgh institution, and all the meats and cheese isfresh and high quality. I've never had such quality gabbagoul (spicy capicola ham) on a pizza joint sub. The cheese is abundant, stretchy and chewy. Best thing is they don't soak it with that awful cheap vinegary processed bottled Italian dressing mostplaces use. They use olive oil and italian seasoning. It's positively sublime. The folks that work there are friendly, welcomingbunch. People always steal the toilet paper and that's totally not cool. They've been out of Cherikee Red for over a year. Forsome reason, Camp's food is best washed down with an ice cold Cherikee Red. Most people take out. Seating is usually ample. They've had the same ugly gondola painting on the wall for at least over 45 years. They always have ESPN on the television. There aren't any plates- you eat off wax paper. It's cool though. I'm glad they spend money on good ingredients and not paperplates or a dishwasher. The way they package takeout pizza is interesting. They put it in a brown paper bag. Don't worry- itworks! Read more

1 Star Review is about the pizza. The Staff was nice and the store was spotless. However, there is literally no reason, even at... 2am to purchase aa pizza here. Campiti's sauce is nonexistent, cheese is cheap, and the dough is equal in hardness and flavor ofthe cardboard it sits on. The good thing and the reason I gave it 1Star is for the brown bag it comes in, so I can easily throwit into the trash. Instead gifting $16 to Campiti's, your better off buying 2 DiGiorno frozen rubber pizzas. I will not eat atCampiti's again, and neither should you. Read more
