He delivered them about an... hour and a half away from Pittsburgh and see them up for us and everything was SO PERFECT! They looked and tasted amazing! Icould not be happier! Donuts taste great and are truly made to order. I was a little frustrated that I arrived 10 minutes early for my pickup and the... donuts weren?t ready, but I guess that?s why they keep them fresh. Duck Donuts Pittsburgh is good; A must try if you've never experienceda Duck Donuts. So things you need to know before you stop in. 1) Be prepared to wait! These are freshly made to order Donuts,and greatness takes time! Weekend mornings, you're definitely gonna wait! Try ordering ahead if possible. 2)The flavorcombinations are endless! I suggest going to the website prior to arrival to see the menu and have some idea of what you wantwhen you get there. This may help move the line along faster. Though the staff are very helpful at the counter if you'reundecided. 3)Don't be a douche and order more than 2 dozen as a walk in.......order ahead! The staff and customers in line willbe thankful! 4)The shop is small, not much room to wait. With that being said, don't bring the whole family in when its busy.I know that everyone wants to see whats going on, but society hates large groups these days. Best to bring the kids duringslower times so they can actually see things being made. That's just a few tips to make your experience as best as it canbe. These Donuts are so fresh, you'll want to slap them! Hot, fluffy and the topping are not too sweet! The shop was clean andthe staff were awesome. Absolutely love this place!!! You can custom make your Donuts or you can pick from their choices.. they all start with a plain... donut then you can add your icing toppings and drizzles anything from bacon to sprinkles and they taste absolutely delicious Iactually watch them make my Donuts fresh it was pretty cool I will definitely. Saturday was ?Bakery Day? in our house. We love trying new places and things often! Duck Donuts wasn?t meant to be on the Bakery... list but it was next to another bakery we were trying. Oh.My.God. If you haven?t tried them ? your life is not complete andyou don?t even know it!!! These donuts are soft and warm and delicious. Duck Donuts was a really great experience. It's so much fun, especially for the children. They have so many great combinations... and choices of flavors.
