The recipes are there but the execution not so much. The carne asada and shredded beef burritos I?ve had both had a fishy taste,... likely prepared on the same spot as seafood items. The quesadilla I received wasn?t even melted all the way. West coast chains(Rubios, etc.) do it all better. I?d typically rate 3 stars but the great back patio and context (its Mexican in Pittsburgh)brings things from a 3 to 4 star. Read more
I ordered the vegan trio and it came with regular cheese . That doesn?t make any sense . Also it lacks flavor. My potatoes were... nearly mush . I?m not sure I?ll return and if I do it?s because the girl that took my order was super friendly and offered asuggestion that I didn?t take her up on so I may try that burrito next . Update : I came back here and I will say that I?ve hada better experience with better quality tacos than my previous review. This is my second time visiting this place first time was last week really good I got the mahi mahi tacos, now I gave four stars... because last week I got the fish was fresh and HUGE and also delicious. This week they are a lot smaller in size and also tasteddifferent (sort of like fish sticks) versus what I had last week they were both good nonetheless just was expecting the samething I got last week including taste although I ordered the exact same tacos which was the mahi-mahi tacos. Still a nice placejust don?t have AC at the moment so unless your getting them to go don?t go when it?s 95 degrees outside. Otherwise I stillthink it?s a good spot, hope this was helpful. Read more

Ordered thru DoorDash. Got the carne asada burrito and the queso fundido. I?m not one to leave negative reviews but my order was... horrible. The meat in the burrito was all fat. I couldn?t even bite down on the first bite because the amount of fat. Afterpicking out all of the fatty pieces of meat, I was left with maybe 5 pieces of meat the size of a quarter. The tomatoes in thepico tastes spoiled. The rice and beans tasted like they scraped all the grit off the grill and mixed it into the container. Thequeso fundido with chorizo had no flavor at all. Even after adding some of my own spices, there was no saving it. It was thatbad. Ended up throwing out all of my meal and ordered from somewhere else. This review is for vegetarian and vegan food - I don't give bad reviews just like that but the food at this place was so bad I... had to and could not ignore and move on!. This is my first time to this place and will be the last. The place speaks vegan andshouts Mexican but nothing is Mexican except maybe the decoration in this place. The tacos were so bland, forget some spicethere was no slat itself! The burrito is huge and tasteless. The sweet potatoes in the taco were still raw... Come on!! The atmosphere and staff were good, but the food, not so much. The ingredients in our Burritos did not taste fresh, they were... on the verge of being spoiled if not already there, I actually threw mine away. The tables in the dining area had really coolpaintings on them. Read more
