Our server Emily was wonderful. Very attentive. My husband's meatloaf was not what he was expecting. She asked if he would like... something else. This place is great!! We stopped in for lunch with a group of 6 after visiting the natural history museum. Despite it being... mid-day, we were seated quickly and service was friendly, attentive, and fast. It seems like the target clientele is collegestudents, but on a Saturday at lunch time, it didn?t feel too rowdy or loud to be able to enjoy a conversation with ourfamily. The menu has a wide selection of options without being overwhelming and we were able to find options that worked foreveryone, including the vegetarian in our group. They have an impressive selection of whiskies, cocktails, and beer. We stuck tothe beer menu with lunch and all the local selections we tried were quite good. Read more
I got the pulled-pork BBQ sammich with smoked bacon & sharp cheddar and russet fries, while my friend went for the meat loaf... platter with mashed potatoes & gravy, plus some excellent veggies. I enjoyed a couple uncommonly good draft IPAs, while myfriend had his favorite Yuengling. Read more
We had dinner here after seeing Phipps Winter Flower Show on a Sunday in January. We ordered 2 different pizzas and shared them.... The Flying Buffalo pizza was out of this world as was the Plain Jane with bacon! The crust had a perfect crispness to it! Ourcraft cocktails hit the spot, too! Our server was awesome! My boyfriend and I definitely found a gem when we accidentally stumbled on this place after looking on the map for a place to... eat on a bike ride through the city. This place was awesome! It was our first time here and everything exceeded my expectations.The waitress was attentive, service was quick, and our food was delicious and served hot. The menu is large, has very unique andfunny names for the food, but best of all there are choices for any palate. The decor is interesting and the atmosphere is laidback and fun. I felt the prices were reasonable for the portions you get and the quality of the food. They also have a verylarge menu for those who like to have an alcoholic beverage as well. I ordered the meatloaf dinner, vegetable of the day, andsweet potato fries. Meatloaf was delicious, vegetables were very flavorful and seasoned well, and the sweet potato fries werecrispy, fresh, and hot. Very good food, great atmosphere, friendly attentive service, food came out quickly, and prices are decent. There are a fairly... wide range of food options to choose from. The mussels are fantastic, a little spicy and a great flavor to the beer/buttersauce. The BBQ bacon sandwich got two thumbs up from my daughter. The fry mix was tasty and unique. Even the coffee was good.The only reason I gave four stars instead of five is the black bean and quinoa burger wasn?t as flavorful as advertised. It wasjust ok. All in all, we?ll definitely be back!
