The waitress told us items that would be on the buffet that were never put out. Also, the serving trays went empty and stayed... empty for quite some time. We also waited over 20 minutes before walking to the front desk and asking them to take our check. Wrote out a comment card but I'm not sure if it will be submitted. The food that was available was bad. The potatoes were rawin the middle and the eggs were watery. Read more

While offering a wide variety of items, the execution of each was great. Friendly staff and bright interior. Quiet and... enjoyable. Read more

Dont even attempt to eat here.... I ordered the specialty Black Rum Bacon Jack Burger (labeled must try). I ordered the burger... medium. It came out well done with 1/8th inch of char . There was no bacon. There was no specialty sauce. For the icing on thecake, it came with large amounts of grill cooties on the bun and plate. You know those little burned crispy black things youscape off the grill. In 20 years of staying in hotels, this was the first time I have walked back down to the restaurant withroom service. I understand mistakes happen but the willingness to still serve something that is beyond edible is beyond me. Imean, how tough is it to cook a hamburger. I also ordered Mac and cheese which was ok (probably not prepared by this cook) anddinner salad which was good. Read more

We went to the Gather restaurant for their brunch to celebrate my sister's birthday. There were 12 of us in the group. Most of... us had the buffet but a few were going to order off the menu and didn't even get to place their orders until the rest of us hadalready gotten our meal from the buffet. While the buffet was adequate, there was an omelette station which was the main drawfor the majority of us. HOWEVER, the man who was in charge of making the omelettes did not have a clue how to do them. As Iwaited for my turn, I watched him totally burn the two omelettes before mine. When I asked if he could please not brown theeggs so much, he ignored me. Deciding not to risk it, I went back to the scrambled eggs and did not have the omelette. Twoothers in our party opted to try them and, as I had seen, had totally dark brown eggs on both sides and they were basicallyinedible. In one person's comment, the were "like rubber". Seeing that the omelette station is a major -- if the the mostimportant -- part of a brunch, I would hope they could find a better chef to make these. Service was just so-so ... we had toask for refills on the beverages more than once and had to track someone down to pay when we were ready to leave. While theatmosphere is great, the food and service is just mediocre. I don't think we would choose this restaurant in the future, especially for their brunch. Read more
