Don't not order from this place. I was told 45 minutes to and hours. Call after an hour and 20 minutes and would not answer the... phone. They didn't close till 10 and I was trying to call at 9:38 Edit: I was very pleased with Giovanni's tonight. I had atotally different experience than last post. I ordered online for delivery but must have hit pick up instead. So after waitingan hour I called to see where my order was at and they informed me that it was for pickup. The guy asked if I wanted itdelivered and I said I would, he told me about 30nto 45 minutes. I asked if he would make my order again since my original orderwould have been sitting for about an hour and 45 minutes since I made the mistake. We love giovanni?s pizza and pasta and have had it for years but this is the first time I?m a bit disappointed. There were two... cherry tomatoes in my salad. One of them had a big green spot on top of the tomato. I look close and it?s mold.. As a pregnantwoman, I feel more cautious with the food I eat. Just didn?t think I would have to be with giovanni?s. Ordered eggplant parmasan and it was delicious! Restaurant quality and enough for two meals. Came with nice salad (not just a... bowl of lettuce) made with crispy field greens and toppings. Homemade Italian dressing was very good too. It's not like the menusays; not rolled with ricotta, just has cheese and sauce but that's all it needed (and pasta side with it too). They shouldprobably change what menu says. Will definitely order from them again! Read more
Well, now I remember why I stopped ordering from this place. The 6 cheese pizza is incredibly salty. I asked for half... pepperoni, and it's there, but there are multiple pieces of pepperoni stacked up - I guess someone was too lazy to actually takethe slices apart. The crust is thick on one side and flatbread style thin on the other side. The cheesy twist bread...Ihaven't tried it yet but there's not much there for the price. We were visiting from out of town and were searching for a good gluten and dairy free pizza! Giovanni?s hit the spot and Was... easily the best GF DF pizza I have had! The service was great, our pizza were done within 8 minutes and the staff was veryfriendly. We are already making plans to return the next time we are in Pitt! Read more
So, their pizza is pretty bad. I got a pineapple pizza delivered today (I know, I know, lots of people hate pineapple pizza. I... love it ????). Anyway, some slices had a single piece of pineapple on them, and some had no pineapple on them. No slice had morethan one pineapple chunk. The dining room is no longer open, but the pizza is the best! The gluten free pizza is awesome. Order the spinach feta pizza.
