Very welcoming and incredibly unique atmosphere! If you love very good food and history, it's a must visit. It's on the Mon, and... you can hear the trains nearby. Take time to walk inside and outside too. Staff is very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. And, they have a great happy hour in the bar area. We come here every time we're in town. Read more

I am a wedding coordinator and we assisted a couple here at the end of October 2022. Grand Concourse is a great place to have... your wedding! The staff goes above and beyond to make everything perfect. Our couple was married at the top of the steps, infront of the glass doors, and it was beautiful. They had a sit down dinner and it was delicious. This is one of the best placesin Pittsburgh for a wedding. Read more

The building itself and the view of the city (if you sit in the right spot) are both really amazing, but it’s an incomplete... experience. For the price and caliber of this restaurant, the food was lacking greatly and service was very poor. I requested amedium steak and received a well done NY Strip. After requesting a replacement, the next steak I received was medium rare if notrare. Extremely disappointing. Service was pleasant and professional but made numerous mistakes that diminished the experienceoverall. Read more

Good food, and amazing service in a beautiful building. The main courses were well prepared and delicious. The baked ricotta... was a great appetizer. The escargot tasted lovely, but the puff pastry appears to be cooked separately instead of on top ofthe dish so it is a bit dry. They offered a free crème brûlée for our anniversary which was great; it tasted lovely, butdid not have a crunch due to using cinnamon for color instead of torching sugar on top. The old platform area is beautiful andair conditioned, and the old Concourse is wonderfully preserved. Read more

Visited for pgh restaurant week. Enjoyed the Coconut Curry vegetables. Was at first skeptical of this being on their menu for... restaurant week since this isn't a dish they are known for, however, very glad I tried it! Superb flavor. Loved the atmosphereas well. Sat in the back where you can see a gorgeous view of the city at night. Read more

The opulent architecture and stunning details of the building make the destination the reason to go. The Grand Concourse... captures a time in history that we rarely get to experience and turns it into a fabulous dining experience. The food is prettygood, too! ;) Read more

Such a beautiful place to dine and the food is delicious. I’m not a sweets type of person, but you have to try the bananas... foster sauce on the waffles for the breakfast/brunch buffet. I can’t get over how incredible that combination of flavors was!The prime rib is also cooked perfectly (and if you don’t like it rare there’s some warm au jus you can use to cook it alittle more??).
