Took my wife to out for our 53rd anniversary. We wanted a nicer restaurant than we usually go to. Houlihan's at the Galleria... was such a nice place. Subtle lighting, no sports or TV blaring, quiet. Service was acceptable. I had the French Dip with friesand my wife had the Stuffed Chicken with asparagus. What a disappointment. The dip for the roast beef sandwich was so salty itwasn't enjoyable. The fries were luke warm, kind of floppy and no taste. My wife commented that the stuffed chicken breast waskind of dry. It needed more gravy or sauce. The waitress never came by and asked how our food was. When she took my plate away,she could see I had opened the bread and picked out the meat. But she said nothing. As I left there was no one to talk to aboutthe quality of the food. For an anniversary dinner it was a real disappointment. Read more
I’m only giving this experience a two based on the waitress who was at least partially nice. Other than that the host acted as... if my group wasn’t present even though reservations were made. We had 3 adults and 3 children, the waitress seemed just a tadupset from previous table but she changed her demeanor which was pleasant. The food is horrible (chicken undercooked and pastasuper oily) and alcoholic beverages are extremely sweet. Entirely the restaurant would seem like a decent place if it wasn’tfor the actual people who dine here….. as a black family dining in this restaurant I’ve haven’t been this uncomfortable ina while people stared at us as if we were an animal exhibit making it extremely hard to enjoy a dining experience. Also, thetable next to us said racial slurs unsure if they were intoxicated but I will not be coming back anytime in the near future tothis location. SIMPLY DUE TO RACISM! Read more
We decided to hit Houlihan's for a quick bite during happy hour. We sat in the bar area, and had a great meal and good house... wine. Our server Ian was great as usual. We will definately keep coming back. Read more
Love the food honestly. Usually order takeout. Hostess is always very nice. However our latest order took an extra 20 minutes... and we didn’t receive everything we ordered. Spoke to Andre the manager who said “Sorry about that dog.” Veryunprofessional Read more
It was good, not great. Asparagus was very large and very woody, was not very edible. Food was warm, not hot and we waited 10... minutes past the time it was supposed to be ready. Houlihan's is one of our to go to spots, so hopefully it will be better nexttime. Read more
Houlihan’s Restaurant was the perfect place to dine for Mother’s Day. The service and food were great, with our focus on... vegetarian dishes. We sat at the high top in the bar area. Very very clean, airy, good distance between tables and no onebothering us. The waitress and bartender were exceptionally professional, attentive, courteous, thoughtful, considerate,gracious and accommodating. We are very appreciative and thankful to them and the staff. We highly recommend Houlihan’sRestaurant to anyone for any occasion. Read more
Everything was wonderful! The food was delicious, the service was perfect, as the waitress kept refilling my tea, and checking... on us. They even had a gluten free menu for my friend.
