Great theme for a bar, but the bartender made us feel like we were an inconvenience. There were regulars that she smiled at and... was happy to serve. But when we ordered she acted like we were asking too much. Then when I asked what bathroom to use (Icouldn?t see the signs clearly from the bar) because I didn?t want to accidentally walk into the wrong one, she very rudely said?they?re gender neutral? like I did something wrong. NOT A GOTH BAR, despite the theme. They had a fun theme, lots of spooky stuff. They had a good local beer selection, with good... prices. However, they turned off Touchtunes while I had music queued up. I guess the bartender preferred her personal favoritemusic over what we paid money for. Read more

I lived in the South Side of Pittsburgh for 3 years and within 2 blocks of Jekyl & Hyde. This was my local go-to bar. ... Halloween theme was unique. It drew a large college crowed Thursday through Saturday nights but there were hardly ever anyissues. I really enjoyed the time I spent here when I lived here. Will definitely make it a point to visit when I'm backvisiting in town! Cheap drinks, friendly bartenders, usually very fast service, staffing permitted. Read more

The vibes here are absolutely immaculate! If you love Halloween, spooky vibes, you will be in HEAVEN! Their specialty drinks are... absolutely delicious and not very expensive, bartender was super sweet and a wonderful mixologist! Read more

What a fun and funky spot! Found out that this Halloween-themed bar has been in the neighborhood for around 25 years and is... still going strong. The drinks and shots are both creative and delicious, the prices are fair, and they have daily specials tomake it even better. Karaoke, monthly events, and an obvious connection to the community.
