I have been going here for over 20 years over the course of 4 ownerships. Right now I am in my 70's and I still feel right at... home and safe despite what others may say about the area. When I first started coming here years ago, it was for the fishsandwiches when it was the Trio Bar. The newest owners who bought the bar in 2015 decided to bring back a fish fry on Fridaysand it is just as good, if not better than my memories of the Trio's, and probably the best one in all of Pittsburgh! The otherfood on the menu that my husband and I have tried is also delicious and reasonably priced. They do allow smoking but it is notas smoky in there as it gets in other smoking bars. The other regular customers are wonderful people, some of which have becamegreat friends of mine over the years! Keep up the great work, Monica, Marie, and the rest of the team! The food is fantastic and reasonably priced. The owners are amazing women who are incredibly responsive and attentive. The... only downsides are that the jukebox is inconsistently loud and that it is a smoking establishment. Honestly, though, thequality of the food more than makes up for those two things. The cooks are all incredible and we've never had a bad meal. Theburgers, meatball sandwiches, chicken parm sandwiches, country fried steak...you just can't make a bad choice. Read more
